We have a large one level home at Wellington Point, Brisbane, in beautiful sunny Queensland. Our home is new, only three years old. The home is pefect for families with 5 bedrooms, a theatre room and a solar heated pool. The home has a large kitchen equiped with dishwasher and separate laundry with washer and dryer. The home has fully ducted airconditioning. The lounge and dining is open plan. There is a lovely pool and a small yard. You will enjoy outdoor dining on the terrace which overlooks the private pool. The property is a 5 min walk to the shops and restaurants, and a 3 minute drive to the bay for swimming and water sports. The city centre can be reached within a 35 minute drive. We are 10 minutes to the main freeway, which will give you easy access to Noosa on the Sunshine coast,(1.5 hours drive) or  1 hour to the famous Gold Coast beaches. Brisbane has sensational warm weather 10 months of the year.

Brisbane is a popular city with huge growth expected over the next few years. A Popular city for boating enthusiasts, with easy acces to the bay and islands. The city has lovely large parklands and lots of esplanades to walk along the river. Our home is in a prestige residential area, in the suburbs close to the bay. All facilities are within a close drive. Easy access to freeway and the Gold or Sunshine coast beaches. The average temp in Brisbane is around 25c. Only in the winter months does it fall below 20c and then rarely. Summer mid 30's. Restaurants, gyms, all at our doorstep. Use Brisbane as a base to explore Australia's inland or the Whitsundays and Great Barrier Reef.

We are currently in France and would like to experience living in different areas. Our home is rented out long term.

My husband (69) and I (59) are ex Real Estate Agents and like most people our age are enjoying the opportunity to travel. We have 11 grandchildren between us and the number is growing. We both enjoy food, wine and new cultures. Richard loves books and history, and we both have come to love France and most things French. We are now Guardians at a beautiful Chateau in France and will be travelling around and would be happy to meet up with anyone looking to learn a little about Australia and of course we always want to know more about Paris or France.
