-Tommaso is open to suggestions but at the moment it is not easy for him to plan a holiday much in advance and he prefers short range exchanges : Italy or somewhere else in Europe easy to reach. Also interested in the main film festivals ( Venice, Cannes, Locarno, Berlin. . . ) .
-Antonio is interested in any seaside place during the first two weeks of August, preferably not too far from Italy . He could also be interested in a week in London.
-Elena could be interested in any cultural european city in the period January - March : she is open to suggestions.
At the moment we are not planning to fly overseas, for a number of reasons. We could make an exception only for Japan or Manhattan.
FEEL FREE TO TEMPT US, wherever you are, but at the moment the further you are, the lower are the chances to arrange an exchange.

The house is attached to ours, so that you can ask us for touristical tips and be helped in anything you need. There are a big swimming pool , a tennis club , a golf club and a riding ground less than 3 km away; nice trekking and cycling paths nearby.
Pistoia, remembered as the "cradle of gardens", is today the Italian capital of plant and flower nurseries : all around our house you can enjoy a unique panorama : trees and flowers of all kinds encircled by the hills of Montalbano and the Apennines .

Pistoia is only half an hour far from Florence, while Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano and the Tirreno Sea are less than an hour far : you can have art, tradition , churches, museums, mountains, beaches, good wine and better food all around you. You can also reach Rome in less than two hours by train and Venice in three hours.
During wintertime you can go to ski in the Apennines, only 50 minutes far by car.
In a few words : Pistoia, your perfect home base to explore not only the best of Tuscany, but also the best in Italy !

BETTER LOW SEASON
We prefer not to exchange our house during summer because it is generally full booked and so we prefer a non simultaneus exchange. Indicatively, we can host you from November to March. It may also be possible to host you in high season, if a week is still available. In this case, we could confirm the availability of that week only 3-4 weeks before your desired arrival day. A simultaneus exchange could be arranged from November to March.
We get an average of 200 offers a year , don't be offended if we refuse your proposal : we cannot be on holiday all the year round !
We are used to file the most interesting offers : we might come back to you in the future to check if it is possible to organize a swap even though we don't accept in the first istance.
MOST REQUESTED FOR 2007
Seaside ( summer ), anywhere , but not too far from here.
Tommaso would like to visit London ( last week of August 2007 ) or maybe Budapest or any seaside location. He and his girlfriend would like a simultaneus exchange with a couple with no children . Should the farmhouse www.agohouse.com be booked, they have another apartment to offer, and it can be used for a simultaneus exchange.

The People
We are four people : mother Elena, who is a teacher; Giovanni, born in 1987, student at the University ; Antonio, born in 1978, Mechanical Engineer and last but not least Tommaso, the one you are going to refer to for the home exchange and rental : born in 1977, he has studied cinema at the university and he works in a little bank in the country.
We love to exchange with people, seeing different places and meeting different cultures: since our first home exchange in Manhattan we have decided to spend our holidays exchanging because we believe it's the most enriching way of travelling !
