We could offer you a fully equipped, comfortable house just 10 minutes from the center of Stockholm in Sweden.

We have a lovely, large modern home (with 10 beds) , in a typical Swedish residential area called Sollentuna, just 10 minutes (10 km North) from Stockholm, the capital of Sweden.

We have a nice large brand new gourmet kitchen, a living-room with a fire-place, with access to a our large nice terrace with sun all day long and our garden. There are four bedrooms (whereof two are the rooms our our children) and a combined office/guest room (with high-speed internet), a game/television room with convertible sofas and two nice bathrooms. The master bath room has a jacuzzi.

We could also offer a very nice, but smaller summer apartment (not the same comfort as the house in Sweden but a very nice location in a wonderful town, for pictures, see the last ones on our listing) - just perfect for summer vacation in La Rochelle on the French West coast.

If you are looking for a family friendly and/or outdoor destination, Sweden is a good choice! We have made a number of exchanges with families with kids, and they have really liked it here. A small farm to visit or picking bluberries in the forest in the natural reserve just 10 minutes away by bike, tours by boat or by car (you can use our car) out in the wonderful archipelago and swim in the Baltic sea just to mention some activities...

Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, is a city on water, sometime called Venice of the North. According to me it is one of the most beautiful capitals in Europe. On an international scale, it is a small but very vital and cultural town (city center has approx 800 000 inhabitants) , close to nature (you can swim in central Stockholm! ) . Sollentuna the community where we live is very nice, with many malls , good public transportations (15 minutes by train to the center of Stockholm) , close to water, forests etc. We are also happy to have many restaurants, the best bakery of Sollentuna, a very nice food hall etc, just 15 minutes away walking or 5 minutes by car/bicycle.
During July, the sun almost doesn´t go down (you can read your newspaper outside without electric light! ). The weather in Stockholm is usually quite nice, not to hot and not to cold - ie perfect for tourism!

For the California exchange we would prefer to stay in a house with a garden with a minimum of 2 bedrooms. Our children love to swim, so the dream would be to have a private pool or a pool nearby. We would also like to play tennis together. If there were other children in the area it would be nice for our kids (beside Swedish, they speak French and some English.) If possible,we would also like to exchange cars.

- we also dispose a loft appartment in the old parts of La Rochelle (2 beds 1 convertible sofa) that could be part of an exchange (see the last photos on our listing)

We would love to spend Easter holidays 2014 (12-19/4 approx) in Berlin and would appreciate a central location.

PLEASE OBSERVE that we CANNOT STAY in a house IF YOU HAVE CATS due to severe allergies.

We are a family of four Håkan, Nadine, Tristan 15 y, and Iris 13 y.

Håkan is working as Senior Director Consultant with Gartner in Stockholm and Nadine, is analyst with focus on environmental, social and governance issues at one of the largest pension funds in Europe.

We love to travel and do things together - swimming, skiing,playing tennis, cooking, singing etc.

We have made seven exchanges so far, both in Europe and in the US - all wonderful experiences!
