We live in a beautiful 18th century house, all made with stones. It's surrounded by a beautiful and quiet garden where it is very pleasant to rest or for children to play.
Downstairs, there's a kitchen (with a beautiful view onto the garden) , a large dining and sitting-room (with TV and Hi-fi system), high ceilings with beams... . We have a satellite dish with plenty of channels connected to the system. There's also a large hall and a study where 2 persons can sleep.
Upstairs there are 3 en-suit bedrooms : 2 with queen-size beds and one with a double bed .
Although our home is only 35 miles from Paris, it is situated in a small typical village dating from the medieval times (with a castle on the hill we can see from our garden) where we can enjoy tranquility. We enjoy going on foot to the bakery in the morning to get some fresh bread and croissants... All the shops sell local and delicious food.
We have been living here for12 years and we enjoy it very much !

We live in an attractive village of Picardie dating from the medieval times.
Surrounded by forests, at the starting point of many hikes, it's also in the centre of a touristic area thanks to its historic past (cathedrals, castles. . . ) . The biggest cities nearby are Chantilly, Senlis, Compiègne, Amiens. . . ) .
Paris is at about 30 miles and you can get there either by car or by train.
In 5 minutes walking, there are about all shopping facilities and a railway station.
If you want to cycle, we have 2 bikes. There are very nice places to hike or bike in the surroundings.
The cities surrounding our village offer a wide range of leisure facilities : cinemas, museums, theatres, swimming-pools, horse-riding, golf clubs, leisure parks (Disneyland Paris and Astérix) . . . In about one hour driving, you can get to the nearest beaches in the "baie de somme" which is a very attractive area (where you can taste excellent seafood) and in about 2 hours, you can reach the beautiful coast of Normandy !

- Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle which is at 20 miles
- Paris Orly (35 miles)
- Paris Beauvais (20 miles) where you can buy very low-cost plane tickets from the Ryanair Company on Ryanair. com (for Italy, Spain, Ireland, Scotland, Norway....)
Car exchange is also a good idea.
We can take care of plants if you need too !
We have many friends in the surroundings you could meet if you wanted to !

My husband is 60 and I'm 47.We are both teachers. Our two daughters are 18 and 21.
We love nature, walking and biking but we also like visiting cities, museums, castles...We have a passion for sailing.
In our home, we can sleep up to 8 persons.
