There will be a Sea Eagle Kayak available at our community boat dock for your use to enjoy all that Cedar Cliff Lake has to offer. You can also enjoy our nature walk down to our private swimming dock. You might also arrange to bring your own boat. There is a public boat ramp on Cedar Cliff Lake.

Cedar Cliff Lake house is a picturesque lakefront retreat in a private setting. This 2500 sq foot lakefront home is spread over three floors. Main and lower decks boast views across the lake.

Fully loaded gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, large breakfast bar, custom wine rack and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric appliances and everything you need to prepare meals.

Many styling features are included such as beautiful stone fireplace, exposed beams and trusses, vaulted tongue and groove pine ceilings, striking hardwood floors and view of the lake.

The main level features a large gathering space that includes: Living Room (TV), Dining, Kitchen, Master Bedroom and private bath, with a lovely full bath which is accessible from the gathering rooms. The large deck, with a wonderful view of the lake, provides a great space for eating and grilling out.

Adjacent to the master suite area is the bunk bedroom. The Master Suite has a Queen Log Bed with Restonic pillowtop mattress, large walk-in closet, a private bathroom with a walk in shower, and vanity.

A staircase ascends to the top level. On the east side is a bedroom furnished with a queen size hickory bed with a Restonic pillowtop mattress for a great night's sleep and has an outside door to a deck with Rocking Chairs. The west side consists of a bedroom with a trundle bed and view of the lake. This level has a bath with tub.

Moving to the lower level you will find a spacious family room. This lovely entertainment area is a delightful place to watch TV or movies, (flat screen television and DVD), play games at the Wii or just enjoy the sitting area for reading and relaxing. Also on this level is a bedroom with a queen bed and one bathroom. A laundry room with full front load washer and dryer is also on this level. An iron and ironing board is provided. Outside the family room you find a huge wrap around deck with a Hot Springs Hot Tub. Enjoy your morning coffee, your meals or your evening beverages outside!

Water, water, water: Surround yourself in awesomeness on Bear Creek Lake, a 497 acre secluded mountain lake: kayak, canoe, float, swim, ski, rent a pontoon boat, or bring your own boat. With over 13 miles of shoreline there are boulders to jump from, islands to explore, waterfalls to climb, and photo ops. Relax at Laughing Trout Camp-in the lakefront timber-framed pavilion, fireplace, kitchen, 2 full baths, picnic, 2 beaches. Ready for adventure? Would prefer somewhere warm from November through March, but we also enjoy the Caribbean even in summer. That's a great time for those down there to be up here! We'd enjoy a trip out west to Lake Tahoe or Northern California.

Steve and I have been married for 30 years.We had been trying to get back to NC after 20 years and found a great getaway home in the NC mountains. We live in florida now, but 20 years ago we fell in love with NC after living there for a year. My husband is a Floridian. We plan to retire in NC.

The Cullowhee area is close to so much. We enjoy any water activities. We love Cedar Cliff Lake for fishing and kayaking.
Also, close to 3 other mountain lakes for swimming and boating. Within an hour to beautiful sightseeing from the Blue ridge parkway to Asheville.
Close to shopping, within 10 minutes. But, when you get to the Lake House it feels relaxing and away from it all. Just enjoy the atmosphere of the Mountains - the gorgeous sites of nature.
