Our Home
Looking for Israel July or August 2014, and Hawaii just about any time.
This is our vacation home and our family of 6 loves coming here many times each year.
It is located in a gated neighborhood in the city of Rancho Mirage, California, about 1 1/2 hour drive East of LA, 1 1/2 hour drive from Disneyland. The complex has 4 swimming pools and two tennis courts and is inhabited mostly by year-round owners. While we are not golfers and the house does not come with golfing priveleges, this area of California is Mecca for golfers with over 100 separate courses in a 20 mile radius, as well as great hiking and the amazing California Coachella Valley and Mojave Desert.
Our house is a nicely appointed 2300 Square foot 3BR 3BA house with wonderful outdoor seating areas, productive Ruby Red Grapefruit and Tangello trees, and a desert landscaped yard. The main swimming pool is 60 feet from our front door and so rarely used by others that it often feels lke we own it.
The house is rented to a wonderful couple from Canada each year from January - March and we use it the first two weeks of April. Other than those dates, we are open to an exchange for a nice house, preferably by the beach, that will accomodate our family of 6 which includes our three children (10 6 6), plus my mother-in-law.

About Us
View Feedback About My Exchanges
Our names are Sigrid and David and we travel together with our children (ages 10, 6, and 6) as well as Sigrid's mother Dolores. We are less adventuresome that we would like to be, but love seeing new places from a comfortable non-hotel setting. When we travel we really just like to live in a new setting and slowly explore our new world. We eat most meals at home and plan our many small day excursions with our kids based on their interests.
We own our own insurance business that we can easily operate remotely, and starting September 2013, we will be home-schooling our children, so extended stays are a fabulous possibility.
