Our home is lovely and spacious, beautifully appointed and family orientated.

Four large bedrooms plus study allows sleeping for 8+ people. The oversized master bedroom offers a king bed and ensuite with double basin, shower and toilet. Bedroom 2 is currently set up as a nursery (with cot – additional port a cot is also available) for our 6 month old, but a double bed can be added to this room if you require. Bedroom 3 currently has two single beds in it for our 2 and 4 year old daughters. Bedroom 4 offers a queen bed overlooking the treed backyard. The study, which is located at the front of the house next to the master bedroom, is equipped with mac computer and wifi throughout the house, can have a single bed added into it for additional sleeping arrangements. We do not have cable tv, however we have thousands of TV shows and movies that can be streamed to either TV wirelessly.

Our outdoor area is divine! Pool, BBQ and outdoor dining makes Sunshine Coast summers and winters amazing and so relaxing. The inclusion of an outdoor fan ensure that a cool breeze is constant even on those balmy nights. The large kids outdoor playground with slippery slide, water/sand table, sew saw makes keeping the young ones busy and entertained a breeze while you enjoy a cocktail or beer by the pool. Luscious gardens surround the property and make sitting by the pool on either of the two large decks and eating dinner in outdoor dining area very relaxing and wanting more. Two large decks run off either end of the pool with seating - and there is a slippery slide into the pool!. The front yard is in the process of being fully turfed and fenced, adding another area for the kids to play in whilst you relax! The lane way that skirts the front of our property services 5 households only. Our kids ride up and down this road with confidence and there are plenty of bikes/scooters etc for you to use also.

The lounge room is equipped with 50inch plasma TV, stereo with surround sound and seating for 7 on the 3 sofas. The kitchen and dining area is extra large and the family table overlooks the pool and kids undercover play area. The family room is currently set up as our children’s play room with 3 person sofa, toys and plasma TV. Numerous Tv shows and Movies are streamed wirelessly to both TV's.

Car exchange is possible as is a non simultaneous stay.

If we haven't had rain, we would just ask that you give the vegie garden a quick water every now and again...please!

Our home is located in Palmwoods on the Sunshine Coast. Located at the base of the Hinterland, yet only a 15 minute drive to world famous Mooloolaba beach and its surrounding cafes and shopping, our home is located in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. Noosa Beach and Hasting Street is a short 35 minute drive and on Wednesday and Saturday’s the internationally renowned Eumundi Markets are a must do for those one off gifts and local art works. We are a 3 minute drive to the train station that will take you to direct into Brisbane CBD and further onto the glitz of the Gold Coast (1.5 hours).

Steve Irwin’s Australia Zoo is 20 minutes away and a great day out for one and all. Pat a Kangaroo and Koala, feed an elephant and see the Crocs snap, a fantastic experience.

The Sunshine Coast is a laid back and relaxed holiday destination. With amazing beaches, cafes, restaurants and shopping it truly is one place that you will want to return to all year round.

Our street is amazing! We face a nature reserve and are surrounded by trees. There are 5 houses in the quite lane way - with my Mum (two doors down) and my Nana (three doors down!).

We are Lindsay (35 State Finance Manager) and Lauren (32 High School Teacher, now stay at home mum who has just launched a start up company offering whole food lunchbox alternatives that are preservative free, sugar free, gluten free, dairy for busy parents and people), Annelia (4) and Phoebe (2) and baby Harry (6 months).

Prior to having our children, we travelled extensively throughout Asia and Australia. Lauren has done some travel to the USA for work and pleasure.

We love entertaining (hence why we love our home) and getting together with friends for a swim, BBQ and drink on a summers afternoon. Winters in QLD are PERFECTION! Crystal clear days 11-18 degrees and sunny. It is our favourite time of the year here.

Our girls love to be outdoors so we are regulars at the beach and at the many parks nearby our house.

We have done two previous exchanges to Canada - one with a lovely family from Sun Peaks and another with a lovely semi retired couple from Whistler (Glen Eagles). Both families we are still in contact with and consider to be part of our close friends.

We want to give our girls (and bubby Harry) a wide range of experiences and we believe that travel is one way we can broaden their horizons. Our children are respectful and well behaved (I know all parents think this, but ours really are!) and we will treat your home with the same love and respect that we treat out own home.

Ideally, we want to relocate to Asia to work and live. Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam.
