The Home
Our house in Inverness Central Florida is situated along the fairway of the golfcourse Lakeside Golf & Country Club.
This property in Inverness is 60 minutes North-West of Orlando International Airport and 55 minutes of Tampa International Airport, 70 miles from Disneyland, Epcot, Universal Studios and Sea World.
We can offer you a vacation in our beautiful house with wonderful garden and heated swimming pool and jacuzzi. This house is available for home exchange.
The villa is of the highest quality standards; fully air conditioned, self catering and tastefully furnished for your maximum comfort. There are three double bedrooms, two bathrooms and your own private pool/jacuzzi.
The villa is beautiful situated along one of the fairways of Lakeside golf course.
Greenfees at the Lakeside golf course and at the golf courses in the neighbourhood are very moderate.
There are numerous golf courses in the neighboorhood.
The villa is fully equipped for 6 persons and is situated on a large lot. There is a private screened swimming pool with deck area, facing directly the golf course, completed with tables, chairs and sun beds, all with thick cushions. For outside living we have a lanai and a separate covered living area; fully furmished.
Enjoy the comfort and luxury of this fully air-conditioned house with its 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large living room, formal dining area, breakfast area, kitchen, laundry room ( washer and dryer) , private swimming pool and 2 car garage.
The Master bedroom has a King size bed, en-suite bathroom and French doors that open up onto screened pool area. There are 2 twin rooms sharing the second bathroom.
There is a beautiful garden with palms and flowers and automatic sprinkler installation.
The kitchen area has almost every modern appliance including large electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, and waste disposal unit.
There is ample space to relax in the living area after a hard day of exploring the local attractions or playing golf. A colour TV gives you the choice of several cable programs. Or listen to the music, there is also a HI FI set with a choice of CD' and tapes. Also there are books to read.

The Neighborhood
Located along Florida's west-central coast and the Gulf of Mexico, Inverness is approximately 70 miles north of Tampa and 60 miles northwest of Orlando. The next largest city is Ocala, 35 miles to the northwest.
Rolling hills and naturally beautifull crystal clear springs, rivers and lakes set this section of Florida apart from cities in the state. Environmentally and ecologically conscious, Citrus County (the county of Inverness) has set aside over 152, 000 acres out of its 683 square miles to preserve wildlife. Most noteworthy, Citrus County is the home of the largest herd of endangered manatees in the state.
North and eastern sides of the county are bound by the Withlacoochee River, the east by the Tsala Apopka chain of lakes and the west by the Gulf of Mexico.
The beautiful beaches of Clearwater, north of Tampa, are pristine and have white-sand. They stretch along Florida's west coach. Sand between your toes, the sound of shore breaks, the warmth of the sun.
At the east coast the beaches of Daytona are famous and cities like St Augustine. Aerospace base Cape Canaveral is nice for a daytrip too.

Average year-round temperature is 70 degree Fahrenheit, with an average of 294 days of sunshine.
Winter temperatures average 60. 1 degrees and summer temperatures average 82. 4 degrees.
The beautiful Gulf of Mexico is about 20 minutes drive from Inverness. It offers an array of activities that provide all kinds of fun for the entire family. There's a good chance you'll see some of Florida's breathtaking natural wonders, including manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, Cypress trees and much more.
Swimming with the manatees is possible in Chrystal River; a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
And Orlando is just an hour's drive from Inverness. This city is famous for his Theme Parks.
In Central Florida there is a variety of Theme Parks and other Attractions to visit.
In the neighbourhood of Inverness there are a lot of activities like golf, tennis, boating, sailing, jet skiing, sail boarding, salt water fishing, hiking, birdwatching etc.

We are willing to consider a car swap.
We don't have pets and we prefer no pets in our house.
We have a non-smoking house.We ask you to smoke only outside in the lanai.
We can accomodate a maximum of 6 people.
The house will be absolutely clean. There is a lot of room for clothes, there is plenty of clean linen and towels and information about the equipment, shops, restaurants, touristic places to visit.
Internet is easy to arrange; however you need to take your own laptop.

We are a recently retired Dutch couple 63 and 60 years of age. We live part of the year in The Netherlands and part of it in Florida.
I (Harry) worked as certified accountant, CFO and Merger and Acquisition Consultant in my own company. I am educated at University of Rotterdam - The Netherlands (MBA and CPA) .
My wife was a secretary at a consulting firm and she had her own training company.
We have two daughters (39 and 36 years old) . We travel together without our children.
