We've lived in this area for the past 3 years and we wouldn't trade it for any other neighborhood. It is definitely the area to stay if first time travelling in Paris with chic shopping, museums and many touristic attractions walking distance, with easy access to the rest of the city (buses/metro) .
There are tons of restaurants and cafes in the area to enjoy the finest food.

The Trocadéro is a rich, chic and touristic cultural area right by the Eiffel Tower and also close to the Champs Elysées.
Only a few steps from the Iron Lady, the Quai Branly Museum, Tokyo Palace and the Champs de Mars.
Very popular for tourists, this neighborhood offers spectacular views on chic Paris, within a historical district.
Many embassies have settled in the area, which provides a safe, international and "bourgeois" atmosphere.
Alma/Trocadéro is appealing for its luxurious boutiques, charming streets and fine food.

You will find a great deal of museums within the Palais de Chaillot: the Marine Museum, the Museum of Natural History, as well as one of the biggest architectural exhibition in the world. The national theater and the Aquarium are also worth a visit.

Two metro stations lead you to the heart of the Trocadéro square, you will also find easily taxi stations, public bus routes as well as touristic bus tours. Opposite the Seine river, via the Iena bridge, you will find the departure of most river cruises, to enjoy a very unique scenery and travel along the water.

Nous vivons ici depuis 3 ans et ne changerions pour rien au monde. C'est un quartier calme, idéal pour découvrir Paris, avec les boutiques, les musées et de nombreuses attractions touristiques à proximité. L'accès au reste de la ville est très facile avec les bus et le métro. Il y a énormément de cafés et restaurants dans le quartier.

Le Trocadéro, un quartier culturel au pied de la Tour Eiffel, chic et touristique, proche des Champs Elysées.

A deux pas de la Tour Eiffel, du Musée du Quai Branly, du Palais de Tokyo et du Champs de Mars. Très fréquenté par les touristes, ce site offre une vue imprenable sur un Paris chic, niché au cœur d’un quartier historique.

De nombreuses ambassades ont élu domicile dans le quartier, drainant avec elle une population bourgeoise et internationale. Alma/Trocadéro est agréable pour ses boutiques de luxe, le charme des rues et les bonnes tables.

Le Palais de Chaillot est un concentré de musées qui vaut la peine d'y faire un tour: vous y découvrirez notamment le Musée de la Marine et son impressionnante collection de maquettes, le Musée de l’Homme dédié à l’ethnographie, l’anthropologie et la préhistoire, le théâtre national de Chaillot. Plus loin, la cité de l’Architecture et du patrimoine, le plus grand espace mondial, consacré à cette discipline.
A l’extérieur, le jardin du Trocadéro offre une pause sympathique avec une vue imprenable et l’aquarium Cineaqua qui héberge plus de 500 espèces.

Desservi par deux stations de métro au cœur de la place du Trocadéro, vous y trouverez des stations de taxi, des arrêts de bus Open tour ou classiques. En traversant la Seine par le Pont d’Iéna, la station pour les bateaux-mouches vous donnera accès aux visites au fil de l’eau.

We're a couple in our early 40's with two daughters aged 2 and 8.
Bertrand is a business lawyer and crazy about music, Lise works for a TV production company and loves antics and flea markets.
We also love movies, travelling, fine food, good wine, outdoors.

We're tidy and respectful of our environment and expect the people we swap with to be the same.
We don't have any pets but we're open to discussion on the subject if your pet is well trained.

We’re planning a two year sabbatical leave from December 1st and are open to all destinations … even if your home is not as big as ours, it's ok, we just want to make the most of this opportunity to explore and travel !

Bertrand est un avocat d'affaires mordu de musique, Lise travaille dans une société de production télévisuelle et adore chiner et les marchés.
Nous aimons aussi le cinéma, les voyages, la gastronomie, le vin et la nature.

Notre maison est propre et ordonnée et nous attendons la même chose de la famille avec qui nous échangeons.
Nous n'avons pas d'animaux domestiques mais nous sommes ouverts sur le sujet.

Nous prévoyons un congé sabbatique de 2 ans à partir du 1er décembre et sommes ouverts à toutes les propositions et destinations … même si votre maison ne correspond pas à la nôtre, ce n'est pas important, nous souhaitons profiter de cette opportunité pour explorer et voyager au maximum !
