Our Home
The apartment is large (160 sq. m.) and very light with open views. The apartment is on fourth floor and there is no lift. The building is from 19th century and has a lovely green backyard garden and a roof terrace for the use of all the families in the building. There is one bedroom, a big dining room, a sitting room, two studies, the one with an extra double sofa bed, a bathroom with a shower and a kitchen with a small dining table. English-speaking neighbours. We have broadband, lots of books and dvd’s in English for your use.
Our Neighborhood
The neighborhood is a very nice, residential area. It looks a bit Parisian with only 19th century buildings. The street itself is very quiet, but only a few yards from busy streets with shops and cafes. Close to several beautiful parks, the harbour with the Little Mermaid, the historical citadel and the Copenhagen lakes. Walking distance to the Queen’s palace and the centre of the city. There are lots of buses, 10 minutes to the underground and good cycling opportunities. We cycle to everywhere in the city and you can borrow our bikes. 20 minutes by bike or bus to beach North of Copenhagen. We would like to be in Madrid for Easter March 23 to April 1.
We have summer vacation from July 1 till August 9 (for NYC)
