Our Home
Downstairs has a large kitchen diner, one end of the kitchen is designed for all the cooking and the other end for washing/utility, there is a 22'' tv, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, range cooker and american fridge freezer. As I love cooking you will find everything you need.
The lounge is a good size with a 4 seater sofa, a single arm chair and a 42'' LCD TV with digital so loads of channels are available. We have an ipod docking station, DVD player with loads of DVD's. There is wireless internet and gas central heating.
We have a good size back garden, there is a patio with a table that seats 8 people, a path through 2 lawn areas leading to a gate which takes you into a playing field behind us. There is parking for 2 vehicles at the front of the property. The garage holds a Gas BBQ and bikes that you are more than welcome to use.
We always make sure our home is clean and tidy, plus we have a cleaner that comes every Friday for 2 hours.

Our Neighborhood
We are located in Bishops Cleeve which is about a 20 minute walk from the rear of the racecourse where the famous Cheltenham Gold Cup is held every year in March. There is a steam train that runs from the racecourse which is a great way to see the countryside, they also do fish and chip nights on some Saturdays, you have to catch this from Winchcombe (10 minute drive) which is a lovely Cotswold Village.
We are roughly 1 hour 15 minutes from Bristol and Birmingham airports and 1 hour 45 minutes from Heathrow, though that is heavily dependant on traffic around peak times.
Cheltenham itself is one of the best towns in the UK for shopping, we are a 10 minute drive from the town centre, there are also public buses every ten minute. It has many wonderful restaurants, two theatres and a multi-screen cinema.
The Cotswolds have lots of walks, pretty villages and country pubs. In particular, Cirencester, Lower Slaughter, Bourton on the water & Chipping Camden. All about 20 - 30 minutes away.
Stonehenge is in Wiltshire which is approximately 1 hour 45 minute drive.
There are a number of great stately homes to visit around here too. you can purchase an annual pass to the national trust (http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk) which gives you free entrance and free parking to their properties - and there are a lot within easy reach of Cheltenham.
The Forest of Dean is one of our favourite places, there are some great walks, puzzle trail etc. (about an hours drive).
Bath (a Roman town) has lots to explore (about an hour).
Stratford (the home of William Shakespeare) is about a 1hr drive.
There are so many things to see and do, but if you decide to stay we will be putting together a list of places with maps and information, we want to help make your holiday as wonderful as it can be.

About Us
We decided to join Home Exchange as we love to travel anywhere and eveywhere, we are very open to suggestions. We love New York/America, Amsterdam UK City breaks and anywhere overseas for the 2 of us, and UK holidays with our dog Molby.
We wouldn't expect anyone to look after Molby as he stays with my sister for a little holiday of his own. But if you would be prepared to feed our rabbits and let them out that would be great, but we can sort something out if you didn't want the responsibility.
We are non smokers and we always make sure our home is clean and tidy, plus we have a cleaner that comes every Friday for 2 hours. We would respect any home as we do our own and would take very good care of it.
Sometimes we would like to take family away with us (2 adults) only if this is acceptable of course.
