Our Home
Our house is situated in a small park in the small town of Nootdorp which has a town centre with an abundance of shops, cafes and some restaurants. Within 3 minutes walking public transport is accessible. Also the main highways (to Rotterdam, The Hague and Amsterdam) are nearby.
Our house was build in 2008 and has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a study (total of ca. 190 m2).
Our house has a front and a backgarden and has a separate terrace on the second floor (20 m2). On the backside the house borders on a small stream.

Our Neighborhood
Our family home is situated in the outskirts of the cities of The Hague (seat of the government in the Netherlands) and Delft. Both city-centres are 15 minutes away from our home, either by tram or bij car. The capitol of The Netherlands, Amsterdam, is just 35 minutes from our home by car. Amsterdam is also easily accessible by train in app. 45 minutes.
Our home is situated close to the beach of Scheveningen (25 minutes by car or tram). For that matter, the complete coastline in the Netherlands (North Sea shore) is quite closeby with well known little towns as Wassenaar & Bloemendaal.

About Us
We're a family of four. Erik, Edith and our two boys: Martin (6) and Leon (4). We have been living in the town of Nootdorp for some 8 years now. Before that we used to live in the city of The Hague. We love the 'green' surroundings of Nootdorp as well as being close to all relevant major cities in The Netherlands (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht). After spending some holidays relatively close to our home (in The netherlands itself and France) we would like make a trip further away as we were used to before we had children. We had some holidays in the United States which we would like to explore even further.
