Our Home
Family home with 5 bedrooms on the edge of small town of Athboy in County Meath, Ireland less than an hour from Dublin. All facilities within walking distance. Overlooking countryside but close to town (11 pubs!) Pleasant garden with toys, childrens play house,trampoline, swings etc, and some chickens. Sports field at rear.
Five large bedrooms;three with double beds (two with en-suite bathrooms), two childrens rooms. Childrens play room and office, lounge with Satellite TV/DVD/PS3. Kitchen (no dishwasher) and washing room. Lovely dining /library room. Broadband Wi-fi internet access. Two wood burning stoves but also central heating.

Less than one hour from Dublin by bus or car and close to Meath tourist attractions such as Trim Castle, Slane Castle and Newgrange tomb. One hour from east coast.
Golf (inlcuding the course that hosted the solheim cup 2011), fishing and horseriding nearby. House backs on to GAA pitch so great for children. Lots of canoeing nearby (i have a canoe also).
Close to all Irish speaking community.
Friendly small town with shops, churches and pubs but accessible to Dublin (less than an hour by car or bus)and all its tourist attractions by road or bus. Buses also to west coast.

Tracy and Andrew Owen-Griffiths
Tracy is a teacher and Andrew a European Commission Official. We are from the Uk and now living and working in Ireland. French spoken. We have three boys and the house is ideal for children.
We have done four exchanges now- to texas, sweden, canada and france. We will not be exchanging in 2011 due to family circumstances but looking to 2012 summer
