We are located approx 40 minutes away from Busch Gardens and 2 hours from the Orlando theme parks and 3 hours from the Space Shuttle Launch.

Have the best of both Florida worlds; live in our peaceful home, close to the beautiful beaches, and commute to the theme parks, Space Center, Keys, Daytona etc.

We also have a Georgia residence - step back in time and stay in one of the oldest Plantation Houses in Hawkinsville, GA on 3 acres of land in the midst of the cotton fields. The house is children friendly - there is a tree house and trampoline in the garden. In the gardens is one of the original wood 'huts' where the slaves would have lived.

Our neighborhood is safe and friendly. Most of the owners are folks who retired here in Florida, however, in the last couple of years younger families are integrating into the neighborhood.

Robinson's Preserve is just 5 minutes away from our home and is 5 miles of beautiful walkways through natural Florida - opened last year, it offers incredible walks, birdwatching, canoeing, guided tours and is a great place for biking and rollerblading.

Close to the bay and beaches, there is no traffic driving by the house. In the back garden, just birds, wildlife, trees and sunshine.

There is an excellent Theater where you can see the local players act out your favorite plays. Sarasota is also know for its fine shopping, dining and culture. South side Gym and Shapes gym is just half a mile away and the famous De Soto Memorial Park is just 2 miles. We are also close to the historic Cortez Village, Holmes Beach and Anna Maria Island.

You can watch the baby turtles erupt from the sand or have an evening meal on the beach watching the sun set at one of the gulf restaurants. If you like fishing you will love the fishing here! Whether fishing from the beach, or the bay, or deep sea fishing you are bound to catch your fill of perhaps Pompano or Red Fish or Snook, maybe a Flounder, Grunter or Snapper.

There are plenty of golf courses nearby and abundant Tennis courts. We are 15 minutes away from Sarasota and the famous Van Weasel Performing Arts Center, which has great shows all year round. Sarasota is a cultural oasis, with Opera, Orchestra, singers and musicians, the Symphony and of course the wonderful Art galleries.

We have amazing beaches all around where you can snorkel, swim (in 90 degree waters in the summer months) fish, jet ski, sail or para-sail to your hearts content.
