Our Home
Our brick home was built in the late 1930's and renovated/expanded in 1999 and 2013. Large new kitchen with stainless appliances, window-surrounded eat-in, and lunch counter that opens to 18' x 18' Family Room with large stone fireplace and state of the art AV. Lovely outdoor stone patio with grill, garden full of trees, flowering perenials, and trampoline. Large master suite that includes queen-size bed and jacuzzi tub. Second master with attached bathroom. Wireless Internet and printer/fax combination. First floor laundry. Partially renovated basement for kids. Off-street parking. Or a beachfront condo on Longboat Key FL at your request if available.
Our Neighborhood
The Edgemoor section of Bethesda, MD is a quiet oasis surrrounded by the bustle of one of the world's great cities - Washington DC! It is NW of DC, about 2 miles above the city boundary. Inhabited by lawyers, international and domestic government executives, growing families and senior's alike. 10 minute walk to Metro train rail and 20 minutes later you can be at any one of Washington's many monuments. Downtown Bethesda, only a 4-block walk away, boasts world-class restaurants of all tastes, abundant shopping, and three theaters. 3-blocks to a brand-new supermarket and renovated library. Very large established trees of all types and carefully maintained yards & gardens. A truly wonderful walking neighborhood with easy access to/from three international airports and all DC has to offer.

If you are interested in exploring Washington DC, and/or the whole East Coast from a central location, there are few better places from which to do it! And if you have young children, like us, you'll feel right at home. The premier Edgemoor Club is a 2 block walk away and includes swim & tennis (8 clay courts). Our membership transfers to you during your stay. We might also be able to help with access to special tours of government landmarks depending on your interests.

About Us
Tom is in sales and Patty stays home/volunteers. We have three daughters who are very active and respectful. They have bikes, books, rackets, movies, balls, bats, gloves, computer games and more. Their dad wishes they used the basketball hoop in the driveway more and appreciated sports on TV as much as he does. Their mom wishes they were a little neater! We have had two exchanges in France & London which were very successful and are looking forward to more.
