Our beach apartment is our little piece of heaven! The place that we always dreamed of in front of the beach and now we want to share it with you! It is a fully furnished third floor, 3 bedroom apartment with a spectacular beachfront and pool view. It is very nicely decorated with details that will make your family or romantic getaway special. This is the best location in the entire resort, just steps away from the beach with the greatest view of the ocean and the pool. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed with a private bathroom. The second and third rooms have queen and full sized beds and all of them are air conditioned. The living room has a futton which can accomodate 2 additional persons and there is a 42" flat screen TV with cable and DVD player. Also, laundry with washer & dryer, a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need plus microwave and electric coffee maker. You will enjoy spending time grilling in the barbecue of our terrace and sitting in the balcony, from where you will see spectacular sunsets!

Villas del Mar Beach Resort is a gated community located in the town of Loiza, Puerto Rico; just 25 minutes away from the Luis Muñoz Marín Int'l Airport and the San Juan metropolitan area. Loiza is a quaint coastal town that has maintained its cultural heritage. You will be surrounded by beautiful beaches but also have the choice of doing other activites. There is an Outlet Mall with movie theaters, a Walmart Supercenter, Walgreens and Marshalls about 15 minutes away from the vacation complex. You will be located very close from the St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort (a recently opened 5 star hotel), from the El Yunque Rain Forest, the Luquillo Beach, Golf Courses and the islands of Culebra and Vieques (known for their virgin unspoiled beaches). Old San Juan and the El Morro Fort, will be about 40 minutes away by car. It is recommended that you rent a car, so that you can move around and enjoy everything that Puerto Rico has to offer. You will find a guidebook in the apartment with lots of information and I will be happy to help you to customize your stay to your particular interests!

We want to exchange during the summer of 2014 to somewhere in Europe. We love the Greek Islands, Turkey or the A malfi Coast but are open to suggestions. Since this is not our primary home, the exchange does not have to be simultaneous. New York City is always an option.

Week of December 22 to 29, 2013 and from June to September of 2014.

We are Marisol, Jorge & Valerie. I work as a Sales & Marketing Director for a Commercial Printing Company and my husband Jorge has his own business as a contractor. Our daughter Valerie is a college student studying abroad, but will join us in our vacations if they are during Summer or Christmas. We love to travel and have been fortunate enough to visit many countries. We have our first exchange planned and are very excited about it! I enjoy very much the entire process of travel planning and carefully plan every detail of our trips. Jorge loves cooking and we all enjoy good food! We are very clean, organized, don't smoke or drink and love to take care of our surroundings.
