Our home is a large (5200 square feet) Riverfront estate featuring it's own private pool and beautifully landscaped yard, It is located on the River and is just a five minute walk to the beach. The home is historic, and was built in 1927 in the Spanish Revival style. It has many interesting architectural features, including clay tile roof and beamed ceilings. It was recently featured in a book on Spanish style architecture in Florida. The house easily accommodates 5-8 people. There are two adult bedrooms, each featuring a large bed for two people, and 2 kids bedrooms, but one can be easily reconfigured for adults. The house also features an eat-in kitchen with access to outdoor dining area, a large dining room (seats 12), a large living room with beamed ceilings, a library, a bar, and a game room with pool table/dart board.

We live beachside in Daytona Beach, Florida, on a thin strip of land between the river and the ocean. Our house is on the river but only 2 streets away from the beach. Our home is located less than 5 minutes from the historic downtown, with restaurants, parks and shopping. The beachside area is home to many fine and casual restaurants, and there is a boardwalk area on the beach with amusement-park attractions. About 15 minutes away are two main shopping areas - one is an indoor mall on a street filled with other shops, and the other is a beautiful outdoor mall. There are also many parks, historic sites, boating expeditions, a Marine Science center. an art museum with children's wing, etc.We are located about 1 hour east of Orlando and all of it's attractions, including Disney, Universal, Sea World, and a great small zoo. One hour to the north is Jacksonville with a large zoo, lots of shopping, and great museums.

We have friends and family nearby who will be happy to help you with directions, restaurant and attraction information, etc. My parents live right down the street if you have any house-related issues or questions.

We are a family of 4. My husband Kevin is an entrepreneur who works in the internet and real estate fields. I am a fashion writer and stylist, and I grew up in this area. After living in Boston and Chicago, I came back here with my husband in January 2004 and we love this area. We have two daughters: Lola, who is 6, and Eva, who is 4.
