Our Home
This 4-bedroom, 3 bathroom detached duplex provides a perfect home base for Alpine and Nordic skiers in the winter and cyclists, hikers and golfers in the summer. We are located on a quiet cul-de-sac near the Vail Golf Course, Nordic Center, bike path and a short walk to the free ski bus. The home was completely renovated in 2010. The main level of the home includes a large living room with wood-burning fire place and flat screen TV, which is open to a large dining room, breakfast bar, wet bar and gourmet kitchen with granite countertops. Master bedroom has flatscreen TV and private bathroom; 2nd bedroom has queen bed with private bathroom; 3rd and 4th bedrooms have twin beds with TV and connecting bathroom with tub and shower. Amenities include large deck; wireless Internet and 2-car garage.
Vail, Colorado, is Colorado’s premier mountain resort, with some of the world’s best skiing and riding. The mountain has nearly 5,300 skiable acres and consistently averages 350 inches of annual snowfall – more than most Colorado resorts. Beaver Creek, 10 miles down valley, provides an equally impressive ski experience. If Nordic skiing is your passion, our home is steps away from the Nordic Center and miles of groomed tracks. The summer is also spectacular – with perfect weather for golf (just steps away) and cycling and hiking right out the front door. The town is also home to a variety of upscale and casual restaurants. Vail also plays host to some wonderful sports, dance and music festivals, many at the Ford Ampitheater, which is less than one mile away.
Our Neighborhood
Our family home, completely renovated in 2010, is located on a quiet, upscale cul-de-sac near the Vail Golf Course. Alpine and Nordic skiing, golfing, hiking and bicyling are literally right out the door. The home is backed by National Forest Land. The back deck is perfect for grilling (year-round) or relaxing in the summer sun.The free Vail shutlle to the mountain is less than a 5-minute walk and runs all year round -- every 30 minutes during winter peak times, so there is no need to drive. The ski area is about one mile to the west. Vail Village is also about a mile away -- and home to some wonderful shops, galleries and restaurants.

About Us
We are an active, outdoor family of four, who enjoy skiing, snowboarding, cycling and hiking. We live full-time in the Golden/Morrison area and this is a second home for our extended family. Our two boys "grew up" with the Vail Development snowboard team. Now that they are in college, we have more flexibility for exploring other areas of the U.S. and abroad.
