Our Home
We live in a three story Victorian terrace situated in Paddington which is an inner suburb of Sydney. The terrace has been extensively renovated and modernised. Generous living spaces open onto a sunny garden and a leafy side terrace (which comes with a BBQ). Stone walls mean the house remains cool through summer. The garden is north facing so there is all-day sunshine. There are harbour views from the third story attic room. Our house is situated in a charming cul de sac so it is
quiet and peaceful. The house has 2 bedrooms and 2 studies, two living areas, a modern kitchen and bathroom and the full range of accessories. The laundry is at the back of the garden.
Our Neighborhood
Paddington is a heritage listed area very close to the city. It is an oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of a big city. It is a charming precinct as most of the housing stock is Victorian terrace style with iron lace balconies (like New Orleans). It is within walking distance to the harbour and the many parks surrounding it. On the other hand it is within walking distance to Darlinghurst which is one of the centres of cafe and restaurant living. The bus or car takes you to many of the fine surfing beaches in the area, about 20 minutes away.
