Our Home
Our home is a two story over basement period redbrick. What that means is that the garden level is one large kitchen and entertainment area which is contemporary and minimalist in design. It is also the cockpit of the house as we spend most of our time there as it opens out through double french doors onto the deck and garden. The middle floors have two traditional reception rooms with large roaring natural fires. We use these to escape from the 4 year olds' mess downstairs. The top floor has three bedrooms with rainforest showers and a luxurious bath. Two of the bedrooms have massive kingsize beds while the third is set up as a kids room but has a big single bed for adult use.

Our Neighborhood
In between Ranelagh/Rathmines is a weird mixture of cool and naff, some great restaurants, bars and quirky shops, cinema and pool. The main attraction is that it is a pleasant 15 min stroll over the canal into the city centre. Our road is quiet with a mix of architecture and mainly family homes. Dublin is a great walkable city and other great city villages are within easy reach. Our favourite things to do include biking in the Phoenix Park, swimming in the sea at Dunlaoire or eating and drinking up a storm at a list of great restaurants and bars to be supplied on arrival.
