Our Home
Close to the centre of Sydney in Glebe Point with quiet tree lined streets and village atmosphere, our appartment is uncluttered, light and spacious.
The kitchen is seperate from the lounge/dining room. It has black granite bench tops and brushed stainless steel appliances, including an espresso machine. We have wifi available too.
We have two bedrooms and a sunroom. There is a bath and laundry with washing machine and dryer. The sunroom is used as a study. It has four arch windows that overlook a wonderful garden and Glebe Point Road.
Many have commented that it has a peaceful atmosphere, due to the uncluttered space.

Our Neighborhood
Our appartment is at Glebe Point - a wondederful mix of quiet village atomosphere and close the the city at the same time. Glebe Point is just 30 minutes walk from the city or just 5 minutes in a cab.
There are lots of great cafes, resaurants, wine bars, pubs, small shops and galleries nearby, including a mix of cheap and cheeful as well as fancy. The small shops sell lots of flowers, fruit and vegetables, and pastries which add to the village atmosphere. The streets have trees and a grassy verge, and the harbour is just a 1 minute walk away.
There are local markets every Saturday in Glebe.
Glebe Point is on a peninsular which is what makes it quiet - there is no through traffic. There are also large parks and a lovely 30 minute walk along the harbour with views of the city. Because we are on a peninsular, almost the whole walk is next to the water's edge.
Glebe is known as a place where academics and artists live as it is close to Sydney University and the city.
Buses travel regularly along Glebe Point Road to the city, Newtown, Balmain and the beach. There is a bus stop outside the appartment. There is also a car share service, called goget - there is a car with a dedicated parking spot outside our appartment.
There are some very nice places to eat and drink neaby:
* Timbah - wine bar - http://barzine.com.au/timbah-glebe.html
