Our home is warm and welcoming! The top floor has 3 bedrooms (one king, two twins) with beautiful cherry hardwood flooring, large windows with mountain views and wood blinds. Four piece bathroom with granite countertop. We have on-demand hot water (never run out of hot water again!) and dual flush toilets throughout.

The main floor hosts half bath, living room (wood burning fireplace), large window with privacy window coverings, dining room to accommodate 8, well equipped kitchen with breakfast dining nook for 5. Kitchen and dining room look out onto the patio and fenced backyard, patio furniture with propane BBQ. Lots of end of day sun.

The downstairs includes a TV room with 40", surround sound, blue ray player, computer/printer/WiFi, sound system, gas fireplace, keyboard. A fourth room that acts as either a playroom or additional bedroom (twin). Three piece bathroom, laundry/utility room.

Our home is located in the town of Banff, Alberta in a quiet family neighbourhood in the heart of Banff National Park. We are a mere 8 minute walk to the town of Banff and 10 minutes to the Bow River, Banff Springs Hotel and Golf Course, Sulphur Hot Springs. Four ski resorts (Norquay/Sunshine Village/Lake Louise/Nakiska) are within a 15/45/60 minute drive from our house.

We would be happy to provide maps, guidebooks and information on local restaurants and baby-sitting services.

With school aged children we are somewhat restricted to school breaks (Christmas, spring and some summer months).

We prefer simultaneous exchanges, since this is our only residence but are not limited to this; tempt us and see what we can do.

During the summer months we have flexibility for non-simultaneous exchanges as well Christmas 2013 is a possibility since we may be visiting family at this time. Banff at Christmas is truly magical.

Living in a "winter wonderland" we like to visit warm beaches during the winter months whenever possible.

We are always open to suggestions . . .

We would also be open to weekend get-aways within a 3 to 4 hour drive from our home in both US and Canada.

Unfortunately Australia/New Zealand/Europe are not currently in our travel plans due to time restraints.

We are a family of four, living and working in Banff; Canada's first national park. Grant is a Financial Advisor at a large Canadian Bank and Barb works at the Banff Centre, a world-class performing arts and conference centre. We have two boys, aged 10 and 7.

We are an active family and enjoy all that Banff and the Canadian Rockies have to enjoy. We love to explore and discover new adventures with our children. Our boys are respectful and we tread lightly and take care of the homes that have been extended to us for an exchange.

We would consider most dates but generally school breaks work well for our family.
