Our Home
3 bedroom 2 bathroom artist's loft duplex in the elegant 17th arrondisment. It takes up the top two floors of a 19th century 'hôtel particulier'. It's like a house under the eaves with a large south facing terrace with a table for 6 and an awning for protection from the sun.
The appartment was entirely renovated in 2010, a new kithcen, new bathrooms etc. A large, open plan living room dining/room and a bar area that looks into the kitchen with seating for 3.
There is space for 6, two queen beds and bunk beds.
The neighborhood is full of restaurants, food markets and clothing shops. It is also nearby both bus and metro for easy access to all of Paris.

Our Dates
Ideally from the 10th to the 20th of August. Our appartment will be empty so we woudl be willing to consider an exchange of 1 week to 10 days in your home against 2 weeks in ours.
For Christmas, we are looking for an exchange of about 2 weeks from December 21 on. (Possible a little less as we are hoping o go on Safari).
Our Destinations
We are looking for a house with pool in the San Diego area for next summer.
We are also looking to visit friends in Cape town (Hout Bay) next Christmas.
For summer of 2013 we are fairly open to destination, we would prefer a house with a pool.

We are a Franco-American family of 5 (I'm a half Frenhc- half American named Claire, and my husband Denis is all French). We have 3 children, two boys (8 and 11) and a girl 4 who attend bilingual school.
We love to travel and spend part of every summer in the US with my family. We love to swin so seaside or pools a big plus with us.
