We have a very nice and cosy familyhouse.Our house is recently restyled, with a (gas)fireplace, and several places to relax. There is a television, DVD, Wii and a music center.
At the groundflour you will find a big livingroom with (gas)fireplace, an open kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and everything you need. The kitchen has a high table with 4 bar chairs. Near the kitchen is an open 'solar green house' with big table and 6 (relax)chairs. If you sit here, you feel like you are part of the garden. There is a sunroof if it's too sunny. When it rains, it's also pleasant to sit here, because you won't hear the rain and it's still bright.

When you go through the door you are in the playroom. There are a lot of games to play together, a television with DVD, also a Wii with games, duplo and paper to tinker. You can also use our laptop.
In the garden children can play a lot, while parents relax (in the hammock). We have a very big trampoline (4,20 x 2,60 meters) and small childrenchairs. There are 5 relaxchairs for adults or bigger children and 4 other chairs.

In the shed in the front of our house, we have 5 bicycles (2 adults, 3 childrens), 1 crossbike, 1 step and a waveboard. We cycle a lot in our neighbourhood. It's a very easy and nice way to experience our surroundings and village.

Upstairs, there is 1 masterbedroom, 2 childrens bedrooms and a new bathroom with bath (evt. with bubbles), shower and a toilet. In the top of our house is an other big room with a single bed, and 2 matrasses.

The area is very save and quiet. There are a lot of children in the neighbourhood. Your children can also play at the playground from school across the quiet road from our house and on the play- and footballfield. One kilometer from our house starts the forest in which you can walk, cycle and play. There are cows, sheep and horses in the natureparc 'Maashorst': www.demaashorst.nl . You can cycle througd the woods with our bikes on the 'Slingerpad', a nice meandering path for cyclists and walkers,

We live in a place called Uden. Uden is a nice, safe and a dynamic village with about 40.000 citizans. There are a lot of shops, bars, restaurants, a theater, a cinema and a religious museum. There is also an indoor swimmingpool with a slide and a rapid, with a seperate swimmingpool for small children.
In the village next to us, Volkel, is an amusement parc for children with a lake for swimming, surfing, rowing: www.billybird.nl

Uden is in the center of three big city's: Eindhoven, Nijmegen and Den Bosch.
When you drive one hour, you will be in Amsterdam, the Capital City of Holland.

From our place you can drive in 40 minutes to the "Efteling"; the most beautiful leisure and amusementpark from Europe where fairytails stay alive: www.efteling.com .
There are a lot of zoo's in the surroundings: Safaripark 'De Beekse Bergen': www.safaripark.nl ; 'Ouwehand Dierenpark': www.ouwehand.nl which also has a great inside playground with wood, sand and water.

We will leave you some information and maps about the environment, so it's easier to choose what you want to do.

We depend on schoolholidays.


Sometimes, it is possible to exchange in weekends.

We are a family of 5 people. My husband is Nico, 42 years old. He is a manager at a cheltered employment company. I am Mariëlle, 43 years old. I'm a psychologist for children en young-adults. We have 3 great children: one boy and two girls. Stef is 13 years, Kiki is 11 years and Janne is 9 years old. They love to play in our garden and at the schoolyard and they are busy with sports (tennis, musical, hockey, gymnastics). Nico and I are interested in music. Nico sings in a band.

Outside, in our garden, we have two white rabbits. It would be nice if you can feed them. If not, we can bring them to someone else.

We all are excited to change houses with an other family. Of course we will live in your house like we do in ours. We have very nice neighbours who are willing to help you if necessary.

It is possible to change cars.
