Lovely little house (764 square feet) in the countryside in Normandy (France), in a beautiful village, next to a pond with moorhens. The place is very peaceful. A safe haven for nature lovers!
There are a kitchen, a bathroom with tub, a veranda and a dining room/living room with fire place. Parquet on second floor, and tiled floor downstairs.
There is a bed for 2 people upstairs, and a sofa bed downstairs.
My husband is a musician, so we have music instruments, that you may use: electric piano, guitar, percussion.


We have a garden (3000 square feet), with terrace and wooden shed. Deckchairs are available in the shed.
Because of the pond, we prefer little children not to stay at our home. Thank you for your understanding.

There are 4 or 5 other houses in the village, and nonchalant cows will be your main neighbors!
Many frogs singing in spring! You'll also hear cuckoos and woodpeckers.

The house is situated 31 miles (50km) from the beach and 3 miles from the next stores for shopping.

We live in a beautiful region called "Pays d'Auge", with hills, woods and livestock farming (small farms). This is a nice place to walk, for cycling and horse riding.

The region also offers a typical, extroardinary architecture (half-timberings), with many castles and so called "manoirs" from the 15th-16th centuries. There are also animal farms you can visit, and a zoo with "free" animals, which is very fun to visit (Cerza).

The region is quite touristic, with the town Deauville (american film festival), Caen (castle of William the Conqueror), the picturesque port of Honfleur, etc.

The beach offers many attractions. Even windsurfing board and paragliding is possible.
