Our Home
Built in 1999, this home is constructed on three levels and features a beautiful interior architectural design with a modern kitchen equipped with premium appliances and two and and one-half bathrooms. The master bathroom is uniquely equipped with a steam shower in addition to a standard shower. There's a large deck on the second level which opens to tall pine trees and it is ideal for grilling food and for private outdoor dining. The home is equipped with broadband internet access and four cable televisions.
The home is located in Tahoma on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. It is located on a quiet street approximately 1KM from the lakeshore.
Our Neighborhood
Lake Tahoe is considered to be the most beautiful lake in North America. It originated from an ice glacier million of years ago and its water is deep azure blue in color. The shoreline is dramatic both with its beaches and its craggy rock formations. The mountains are rugged and offer outstanding trails for hiking. There are many miles of bike trails for mountain biking and bike paths for road cycling. The Truckee River flows from north Lake Tahoe and offers outstanding fly fishing and river rafting. Boats are also available on a rental basis for touring, sailing, water skiing and fishing.
The Lake Tahoe area offer many excellent restaurants, a wide choice of supermarkets, retail shopping and beautiful beaches. The State of Nevada and its casinos are only a :30 minute drive by car. During the summer months, there is also a wide variety of organized outdoor activities available.

Other Information
This is our second home and it has never been rented and this is the first time we've made it available for an exchange. We are open to considering making both homes available to an exchange partner as well as a vehicle.

Our Dates
We're both retired, relatively flexible as to dates and we're open to a non-simultanous exchange.
Ideally, we would like to exchange homes for a two to three-week period.

We're seeking a home exchange in Provence or Northern Italy of comparable size to our home and preferably with a swimming pool. Ideally, we would also like to exchange automobiles, providing each party has adequate insurance.

About Us
She is a copy editor for print publications and an avid art collector and athlete. Very much involved in the community, she has served on the boards of the symphony orchestra and currently chairs the municipal arts commission.
He recently retired from a large U.S. corporation as the Global Creative Director. In that capacity, he managed the creative development and production of print and broadcast advertising for three global brands. Since retiring, he has continued his creative pursuits in the fields of photography and writing.
