Our Home
Open living area with fully equipped kitchen and granite breakfast bar with dining for 4 plus downstairs half bath. Spiral staircase to the second floor where you will find a guest bedroom with one queen bed and a pair of twin beds. The master bedroom has a queen bed and work area with full bath. Enjoy 2 outdoor decks with tree top views of Old Town Key West, a lovely, private sun deck off of the master bedroom and the perfect little front deck offering a great sitting area for morning cafe con leche and reading the paper. Walk to the Historic Seaport and Duval Street easily from this great location,close to area marinas and a community swimming pool.
Our Neighborhood
Our condo is located on Eaton Street, between Margaret and William Streets, in the heart of Key West's Old Town. This neighborhood is filled with historic homes dating from the period when Key West was the wealthiest city in the United States. The condo is in a historic home with three other condo units. The location is ideal to explore Key West by foot or bike. Great restaurants are within a five minute walk of the condo. World famous Duval Street is 3 1/2 blocks away -- close enough to enjoy, but far enough away for peace and quiet.

Other Information
Key West is the at the bottom of the Florida Keys, a chain of islands south and west of the Florida mainland. Key West is closer to Cuba (90 miles) than Miami (155 miles). For much of the last century, literary giants such as Hemingway and Tennessee Williams have called Key West home. As a result, there is a rich cultural scene here for an island w/ 25,000 full-time residents.

Our Dates
Available for a non-simultaneous exchange only... Looking for 3 to 4 nights between February 16 to February 23 to work w/ our son's winter break...
As for Charleston -- looking for some dates on or near Easter.
As for the Outer Banks -- looking for the last week in June.
Our Destinations
We are most interested in a condo @ Heavenly -- however, we are open to other exchanges in Lake Tahoe.

About Us
My wife, Kristi, and I (Curt) enjoy travel, specifically to Europe. We have a son, Andy, who was born in Paris during the three years we lived in the 7eme arrondisement. We hope and believe we have passed along our travel bug to him.
We also enjoy beating the cold weather of the winter -- as a result, we bought a condo and vacation frequently in Key West, Florida.
Kristi and I both participated in study abroad programs during college (France, Spain, and UK). This home exchange program seems like a great way to continue those great experiences later in life.
