Our Home
Large bright family home completely remodeled and extended in 2012 to include a large open plan kitchen/dining/family room with flatscreen TV overlooking our large enclosed garden and patio. Downstairs also includes a lounge,utility room and toilet/cloakroom. Access to the garden and patio is from French doors in the kitchen. There is a Gas barbeque and shed with bikes etc, and as we have 2 children there are lots of books, DVDs and XBox and Wii games. Upstairs includes a large landing, Wetroom, 3 bedrooms; master with ensuite,and a Large double bedroom in the attic with dressing room. We are only 30 min to Dublin Airport, and although located in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains with parks nearby, it is only 3.5 miles into Dublin city centre and approximately 1 mile from the M50 which is the main Motorway that serves the rest of the Island
Our Neighborhood
Rathfarnham is a suburb on the Southside of Dublin city. It has a great bus service that runs every 10 mins into the city but there's lots to see and do in the immediate area as well. Our house is within walking distance of restaurants, supermarkets, and pubs. Rathfarnam also has it's own castle and there are several parks nearby including Marley Park where there is a farmers market each weekend. Closeby are tennis courts, a pitch and putt course and a number of Golf courses and there are a number of summer camps run locally for kids if you were interested. Dublin is full of things to do and see and our location and great transport links would make it easy for you and your family to get the most from your holiday.

Our Dates
We are tied to school holidays and our preferred month to travel is August.
We would also consider a swap at Halloween
Our Destinations
Our ideal destination is somewhere on the East coast, near the sea and not too far from New York or Boston.
Our last swap was to Chicago and we would happilly return there too

About Us
We are a family of four. We have two children, a boy and girl who are 14 and 12 years old. We've enjoyed a number of swaps over the last few years and have really enjoyed the experience. Needless to say we would be very respectful of your home and would treat it as we would want our home to be treated.
