Home situated on the shore of Lake Michigan, beautiful sandy beaches and lake bottom, clear fresh water, the great lakes are so expansive that looking west is only water, sunsets, and thunderstorms spectacular, feels like the ocean. Wonderful swimming, boating, fishing and beach life summer through early fall. Winter sports abundant too. Private residential area, many golf courses, natural sand dune formations,swimming, kayaking, sailing, biking, and more. 4 hours from Chicago, easy ferry access across lake to Wisconsin. Home is 6 years old and in excellent condition. Interior is light, airy, mainly maple. Large deck across front of house, garage and basement are the lower level, main floor has master bedroom suite, kitchen, living areas, and second floor with 3 bedrooms, bathroom and loft area.
Our Neighborhood
Summer vacation area, especially. Private area of about 8 - 10 homes. Near smaller inland lake called Stony Lake, within walking distance. Can boat or swim there also, besides taking a float down the creek. A few miles north is Silver Lake with acres of shifting sand dunes to play on or drive on. Many golf courses nearby.

About Us
We live year round in Michigan, love Lake Michigan in all seasons. We have 2 daughters, one in college and one a senior in high school. Boating and fishing are very popular here, but we boat. Have kayaks, a small sailboat, water toys! Also love swimming, biking, golfing, and in the winter - skiing. My husband is a physician and I am a nurse by training. We have several small dogs, and love gardening.
