Charming two bed roomed holiday house within a little residence immersed in beautiful gardens overlooking Lake Garda. The residence is set on a hilltop of a small town called Soiano overlooking the Garda Lake, amongst olive groves and vineyards. In the residence there are a large outdoor swimming pool 20m x 10m, tennis court, ping-pong table, outside bowls, table-football.

Ground floor is composed by living space, dinner space with kitchen area (equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher and 4 ring gas cooker), 1st Bedroom with double bed , 2nd Bedroom with two beds, bathroom with shower. Two verandas complete the ground floor living space.
At the lower floor taverna with fireplace, laundry area with washing machine and second bathroom with shower.
Veranda with climbing Jasmine plant includes dining table, in the garden sunbeds and deckchairs.
Although the apartment is Non Smoking, it is of course ok to do so in veranda.

3 kms to lakeside, 7 kms to LONATO DEL GARDA centre, 8 kms from DESENZANO DEL GARDA and 15kms from SIRMIONE. 5 minute drive from A4 Venice to Milan motorway with easy access to VERONA, MILAN, BRESCIA, MANTUA and VENICE.

The residence has 13 private villas and is in a quiet hillside position in the district of SOIANO DEL GARDA overlooking beautiful LAKE GARDA (Italy's largest lake 370 square kms and one of Europe's largest).

There are local hillside villages where you can buy your 'Brioche' (croissants) and freshly baked bread closeby and join the locals for a cappuccino or caffe' espresso or even a refreshing 'aperitivo' 10 minutes away by car, there are many hypermarkets around DESENZANO DEL GARDA if you want to do some serious shopping !!! Easy access to lakeside 3 kms away. The countryside around the residence is breathtaking with many cycle trails and footpaths leading to some fabulous local restaurants and 'agriturismo'. There are some amazing vineyards and olive groves where you can sample the produce and just relax and take in all the beauty of the countryside around you. There are some great golf courses on the Lake Garda area.
Cycle or drive down to the lake visiting some of LAKE GARDA'S many beautiful towns and villages including SIRMIONE (with it's 13th Century castle and thermal spa), MALCESINE (with it's narrow cobbled streets and cable car up to Monte Baldo), BARDOLINO (with it's many piazzas and fame for it's tasty wines) and GARDA town (with its superb outdoor lake side market). All these places are some of the many resorts easily reached by ferry or hydrofoil from DESENZANO DEL GARDA or SALO’. Train station in DESENZANO on main VENICE to MILAN line.

For the sports enthusiasts try out some sailing, windsurfing, kite surfing, tennis, fishing, horse riding, etc.. Finally for golf lovers the famous golf site of GardaGolf Country Club (www.gardagolf.it/ITA/Home.asp) is distant only 2 kms from our house.
Desenzano has public beaches for swimming in the lake and sunbathing. 'Desenzanino' is a beach where you can hire sunbeds and deckchairs with on site bar and restaurant. (10 mins drive from our residence)

For family fun try out the famous 'Gardaland' for it's exhilerating rides: Italy's biggest fun park and one of Europe's largest (www.gardaland.it), Sea Life, Movieland-Caneva (www.movieland.it/) and Medieval times all within a 30 mins drive away on the lake !!! Visit some of Lake Garda's beautiful parks and gardens including Parco Sigurtà behind PESCHIERA or the Heller Themed garden linked by walks in GARDONE RIVIERA

Garda Lake is a great base to visit the main historical cities of Northern Italy: VERONA for the Arena, MILAN for it's designer shops, fashion and sights, FLORENCE and VENICE for their rich historical and art culture...It's also a great base to see all the beautiful local sights and walks in the area and to tour LAKE GARDA . Monte Baldo, overlooking Lake Garda. Open air and indoor Natural Hot Thermal Spa in Sirmione.

Non Simultaneous Exchanges are more than possible as this is our second home.
BERGAMO AIRPORT (40 mins drive ) is Italy's main hub for Ryanair low cost flights from all over Europe, whilst MILAN MALPENSA AIRPORT (1hr 15 mins drive) is Easyjet's main hub for low cost flights from all over Europe and in addition is Italy's main International and Intercontinental airport along with ROME FIUMICINO AIRPORT. International flights are available to both MILAN LINATE and VERONA AIRPORTS (30 to 60 mins drive) .

School holiday

We are looking for a home exchange for Xmas Holiday 2013, Easter and Summer Holiday 2014 (school holiday).
We are open to offers about different destinations. This is our second home so non-simultaneus exchange are more than possible!
