  • Our lovely home is one of four house next to eachother (neighbours). There is no traffic in front of or behind our house.

  • Living room: The living room borders to the kitchen, looking out of the veranda/patio and nice garden.
  • open kitchen adjacent to the living room
  • Our bathroom: We have a very nice big bath, and in the bathroom you have a washing machine.
  • This nice big room has a double bed, a computer and a place to lounge.
  • Second bedroom (from our middle son): This big room is a very cheerful room with lot's of toys and space to play.
  • Seccond bedroom: The wall of this room has a beautiful animal-wall-paper.
  • Third bedroom (from our youngest): All the childrens bedrooms are on the 1st floor, also the bathroom and the (second) toilet.
  • Fourth bedroom on the 2nd floor (parents)
  • The 2nd floor is bedroom and working room
  • Garden: Our nice garden has a veranda/patio with a big table with chairs, so you can always eat outside. In the shed the bicycles and our lovely rabbits in their rabbit-palace.
  • Boys having a ice-cream in our garden
  • The boys in the nice playing- and (in summertime)swimming-park in the next village, Naaldwijk
  • Behind our house
  • The dunes : Very close to our home you can walk for hours in the dunes, walking along with the horses and maybe you see a rabbit or fox!
  • Dunes Hoek van Holland: Just 10 minutes by car there is Hoek van Holland, also very nice town.
  • Hoek van Holland: From here you can go by boat to England!

Our Home

We live in a nice quite place on walking distance from the sea! Our home is a perfect place to celebrate your holiday! In a few minutes you can go to the beach, by bicycle have a long drive through the dunes, swim in the sea or just have long walks in the forest. 
Our house has three floors, a nice garden with a patio. And a little garden in front of the house (on a quit lane). There are 4 bedrooms, so everybody has it's own space. 
There are 5 bikes available for all ages! A car-exchange is possible. Our car is for 6 people.
Children can walk around in our quiet neighbourhood, with a nice playground and park.

Our Neighborhood

's-Gravenzande is one of the six small villages of 'het Westland'. With 19.000 people it is a nice quiet (but not too quiet) village. If you want your peace you can walk/bicycle to the beach (from our terrace on the 2nd floor you can see the beach!).
If you want some excitement (go see a movie or or theatre) the nearest place to go is only 4 km away (Naaldwijk).
Only 10 minutes by bike or car you can visit the nice forest (Staelduinse Bos) and a very nice small forest (Het Prinsenbos) with a very big playing garden and a swimming lake. Also at the same distance you can go to Hoek van Holland. You culd cross Hoek van Holland by boat and go to England!!
The big cities The Hague and Rotterdam are by car only 20 minute drive.

About Us

We are a family of 5:
Merlijn (40, working as a software engineer), Andrea (42, working as a staff member education policy) and our 3 boys; Jesse (12), Tommie (6) and Misha (4 years).
Our children love to be outside, on the beach or in the forest. They love to swim, play football and ride their bikes.
We have two sweet cats and two rabbits (the rabbits live in the garden) who love to cuddle.

We love to travel and have already done 5 home-exchanges in France, Switserland, Morocco, Belgium and Spain. 
Also we have travelled (not by home-exchanges) to Brasil, America, England, France, Belgium, Turkey, Thailand, Egypt and India.
