Melides es un pueblo muy pequeño y el coche solo se necesita para la playa. Todo está a menos de 5 minutos andando.Se aparca delante de la casa. Campo de golf a 30 minutos.

Existe la posibilidad de intercambiar un piso a 15Km de Madrid de 90m2 con tres dormitorios,salón, terraza y dos baños. Autobuses directos a Madrid cada 15 minutos.

The villa has 4 bedrooms and a living-room of 45 m. 2 complete bathrooms. A little backyard of 90 m with a lawn. On the other side of the backyard there is a little house with one bedroom, a kitchen and a WC. About 5 km to the beach.Melides is a very small and quiet village and you only need the car for the beach. Everything is within 5 minutes walk. You can park in front of the house. Golf within 30 minutes. The house is very confortable and suitable for barbecues at home.
We have also an apartment of 90 m2, 15 km from Madrid, which could be swapped too.

El pueblo es muy pequeño pero hay un mercado de pescado y frutas y verduras. Dos carnecerías. La casa es ideal para hacer barbacoas en casa y vivir en la casa que es muy cómoda. Hay de todas formas 2-3 restaurantes y una cafetería justo enfrente. Hay un parque para niños.

Melides is a small village located in El Alentejo, 120 km south of Lisbom which has all kind of commodities (there is a fruit and vegetable market where you also can buy fresh fish, a supermarket, 2 butcher.s, a playing ground for children and some cafes and good and unexpensive restaurants where you can taste typical portuguese food like de delicious cod.)
But the most atractive things are the wonderful and unspoilt beaches. Two of these beaches (Melides beach and San Andrés beach) have some lakes where children can swim and it is also possible rent a pedalo.

There are some beaches, like Porto Covo beach (30 minutes by car) that are wonderful to go surfing and where it is possible to rent a board. But if you do not like surf, these beaches are also worth visiting becouse of their beauty. We recommend to visit Alberta nova and comporta beaches too.

Melides village is surrounded of cork woods and rice fields. We usually go cycling around these areas during the evening becouse we like to enjoy with the beautiful sunset.

In July there is a famous music of world festival in Sines (25 minutes by car from Melides.

Me llamo Kristina y soy sueca de nacimiento. Tengo 65 años y soy viuda con tres hijos y 6 nietos de 6 meses a 6 años. Mis hijos, hijos politicos y yo tenemos todos carrera universitaria y somos gente pacífica y amantes de la naturaleza ante todo y hacer excursiones. Vivimos todos en Madrid y Melides es nuestra casa de vacaciones que compramos en Portugal porque mi yerno es portugués.

My name is Kristina and I was born in Sweden. I am 65 and a widow and have three children and 6 grand-children. We all have gone through the University (not the grandchildren who are from 6 month - 6 years old). We are all quiet people and love nature and doing excursions. We live in Madrid but have our summer house in Portugal as my son-in-law is Portuguese.
