Our house was built in 2006 and is very quiet and peaceful. We live in a water and most densely wooded area in Berlin, called Koepenick.
The first level of our home has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with tub, shower, washing machine and dryer. The main level is our living room with a nice fireplace, our kitchen (stereo present) and office room with a separate entrance.
In the basement floor with guest room has a TV connector, 1 bathroom with shower. The hightlight is our cinema, where you can spend time together.
Totaly, all rooms are very bright due to the many windows. All rooms equipped with floor heating.
Toys is available, bicycles and garden furniture as well. From the kitchen than opens onto the partially covered terrace and garden. We have parking areas for two cars available.
We live in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of parks, forest and lakes. There are supermarkets within minutes and the neightbors are pleasant. We are only few minutes to a train than can take you to Berlin-centre.

Unser Haus ist 2006 gebaut und liegt sehr ruhig im Grünen. Wir wohnen im wasser- und waldreichsten Gebiet Berlins, in Köpenick. In unserem Obergeschoss sind 3 Schlafzimmern und 1 Badezimmer mit Badewanne, Dusche, Waschmaschine und Wäschetrockner. Im Erdgeschoss ist das Wohnzimmer mit Kamin, die Küche (Stereoanlage vorhanden) und das Büro mit separatem Eingang. Im Keller befindet sich das Gästezimmer mit Fernsehanschluss, 1 Bad mit Dusche und unser Kino. Insgesamt sind alle Zimmer sehr hell durch die vielen Fenster. Überall ist Fußbodenheizung und es ist sehr warm.
Spielzeug ist vorhanden, Fahrräder und Gartenmöbel auch.
Von der Küche aus gelangt man auf die teilweise überdachte Terrasse und in den Garten. Auf dem Grundstück können 2 Autos parken.
Wir haben W-Lan Anschluss.
Unsere Nachbarn sind sehr nett und hilsbereit.
In unmittelbarer Nähe liegt der Fluss (Dahme) und wir wohnen in Waldnähe. Der Wald liegt entlang eines Sees. Die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel liegen 5min entfernt. Der nächste Supermarkt ist in 10 min zu Fuß zu erreichen.

We live in the south-east of Berlin. Forest and lakes are nearby and only a 45 minutes drive into the centre of Berlin. So very convenient travel to all that Berlin offers (the TV Tower, the Berlin Wall, the Brandenburg Gate, Berliner Dom, the Reichstag and many, many museums, theaters and lots of shopping centers).
Near our house there are opportunities for swimming, hiking, biking, boat rentals and boat excursions through Berlin to make. Our house is 15 minutes walk from the Old Town Koepenick. There are many outdoor cafes, restaurants and cafes, located on the waterfront. One of the best cocktail bars in Berlin and music-hall, which is played in live concerts, dances and comedy is also there. In summer there is a famous jazz festival.

Wir leben im Süd-Osten Berlins, in Wald- und Seenähe - das Erholungsgebiet von Berlin. Gleichzeitig sind es mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nur 45 min bis in Berlins MItte. In Berlin-Mitte sind die bekanntesten Sehenswürdigkeiten Berlins zu entdecken - der Fernsehturm, die Berliner Mauer, das Brandenburger Tor, der Berliner Dom, der Reichstag etc. Viele Museen, Kinos und jede Menge Shoppingcenter können hier entdeckt werden.
In der Nähe unseres Hauses gibt es Möglichkeiten zum Baden, Wandern, Fahrradfahren, Boot Verleih und Ausflüge mit dem Schiff durch Berlin zu machen. Unser Haus liegt 15 Gehminuten von der Köpenicker Altstadt entfernt. Hier gibt es sehr viele Gartenlokale, Restaurant und Cafes, die direkt am Wasser liegen. Eine der besten Cocktailbars Berlins und ein Saal, in dem Life-Konzerte, Tanzveranstaltungen und Comedy gespielt wird ist ebenfalls dort. Im Sommer findet hier ein bekanntes Jazz-Festival statt.

We had two successful house swap. Both swaps in France - Brittany and Nevers (Burgogne). These were wonderful experiences and we look forward to more travels!

We have arranged a home exchange for the summer of 2013 (USA-California) !

My name is Katrin. I am 43 years old and a senior accountant. My daughter, Livia is 7 years old and my son, Mariano is 12 years old. I love my garden and like to sit in my swing on the patio with a glass of wine. Swimming, reading and travel are other hobbies of mine. Mariano and Livia do martial arts - judo and Quan Kido. Mariano loves football and comics. Livia paints and loves to create some new pictures. Both love animals, even if we have no animals. My boyfriend lives in Bonn and visit us on weekend. He has two children (10 and 18 years old). Now, we want to spend time together and travel a lots of nice places.

Ich liebe meinen Garten und sitze gern in meiner Schaukel auf der Terrasse bei einem Glas Wein. Lesen, schwimmen und Reisen sind weitere Hobbys von mir.
Mariano und Livia machen Kampfsport - Judo und Quan Kido. Mariano liebt Fußball und Comics. Livia malt und bastelt gern. Beide lieben Tiere, auch wenn wir keine Tiere haben.
Mein Freund wohnt in Bonn und besucht uns am Wochenende. Er hat selber 2 Kinder (9 und 17 Jahre alt) und ab und zu machen wir gemeinsam Urlaub.
