Our Home
Individual villa facing south with a beautiful view of mountains, forest, olives and the village of Claviers. Large terrace with sun from morning till dusk and small shadowy refuges around the plot. Palm trees, figs and local flowers complete the Provencal style of the villa.
Large cosy living room with open kitchen and traditional Provencal fireplace. 2 bedrooms, 1 bath room and a separate toilette. Bright and airy atmosphere, yet cosy and homely. Separate entrance to annex with large bedroom and separate toilette. The annex is best in spring, summer and fall. Winter will be too cold.
Our Neighborhood
Bargemon village is just 5 min. walk up a small path solely for pedestrians. Our villa is so close to town and yet very tranquil. Strolling through the old village, you will be charmed by the narrow streets and the little village squares each boasting its own fountain with water as pure as any found in France. Small local market every Thursday. Activities in the area include: fishing, horse riding, hiking and paragliding.
The nearest large town is Draguignan, 22 kilometres from Bargemon. Short drive to Gorges du Verdon (Grand canyon du Verdon), a river canyon considered to be Europe's most beautiful. It is 25 kilometres long and up to 700 metres deep. The Verdon River runs through it. You can drive around its rim, rent kayaks or hike. The limestone walls, which are several hundreds of metres high, attract many rock climbers.
Nice is just 1 1/4 horus drive away.
