The main floor has an entry classic for the period with a large dining room, bright spacious kitchen and new half bathroom. Living room has a working fireplace. A very private back deck overlooks extensive gardens with great mountain views.

A european washing machine, gas dryer and a good dry cleaner will keep you clean!

We are near 'Grand Boulevard' in North Vancouver's very desirable Central Lonsdale, a green but urban area with diverse shops, cafes and restaurants overlooking Vancouver harbour with ever-present mountain views to 'The Lions', Grouse Mountain and other peaks.

On the slopes of Grouse Mountain, North Vancouver offers 10 minute drive or 20 minute bus to wilderness park walks, mountain trails, a Gondola ride to Grouse Mountain with bistro/restaurant and other attractions(Grizzly Bears, Logger show) and a Salmon Hatchery on the Capilano River. World famous mountain bike trails as well.

We are a retired city planner (Tom, 61) and a retired teaching assistant (Christl, 58) with 3 adult children nearby and available to help orient you to the city.

Hiking, trekking, telemark skiing, gardening, photography, singing, love of books and an interest in arts augment our love of traveling, often to obscure locations. We love most foods of non-fast varieties and would be pleased to suggest good dining options to suit your taste and budget.

We speak some Deutsch and Italiano and regret our limited Francais.
