At the center of it all - Diagonal and Pg de Gracia in Barcelona! We chose this apartment because of its lovely views of la Casa de Les Punxes, an architectural landmark on Diagonal. Our house is simple and modern with all new appliances and conveniences. It's open and large - 140m2 - for Barcelona. We just moved in less than a year ago and absolutely love it. We have a master bedroom, a main guest room and also a smaller guest room. We have two bathrooms with glass showers.

The apartment is on the 5th floor (7th floor including lower levels) and has excellent views and fresh air. It has an elevator, of course!

We hope you will share our excitement with our beloved downtown Barcelona: stunning architecture, wonderful restaurants and a great city buzz. Our neighborhood has lovely cafes and restaurants. Also, we are just one block away from the district of Gracia - that older, village-like area of Barcelona known for students and counter-culture. We do our vegetable shopping in the Gracia market!

Our apt is close to the Diagonal and Verdaguer metro stops - both just two blocks away. Also, there are two bus stops on our block and more nearby. We are great fans of metro Barcelona public transport - 10 trips for less than 1 euro each!

Taxi's are convenient - and you can get to most any place in the center for around 6 euros during the day (2 euro supplement at night).

Of course, if you'd like to get out of the city - there are convenient local trains to Sitges or in the Maresme area, for those of you looking to get around. Just ask us for help!

We may like to bring friends with us on the exchange. If this happens, we will inform you exactly who will be staying and provide pictures of everyone. You are also invited to bring your friends/family as we have three beds in the house and plenty of room!

We welcome children of all ages but don't have any, so if you bring them, please let us know their ages so we can make sure the house is safe for them.

We are a middle-aged gay male couple - happily married and business managers with international firms. One of us was born in the USA and the other is Canarian/Spanish/Belgian. We do not have children, but one of us is a volunteer with children and we love them. We love travelling with friends and exploring new cultures. We are fluent in several languages. We do not have pets, but would love to have a dog. We are avid readers and internet writers. One of us loves Xbox video games and the other loves world history. We also love fine food and wine and one of us loves cooking as a hobby.
