Our Home
Beautiful home located in the quaint town of Colonial Beach, Va. 1.5 hours south of Mt Vernon and other DC attractions. 45 minutes from the historic town of Frederickburg VA. Near Kings DOminion and Water Park. This home is located on a small bay directly off the Potomac RIver (swimming beach). Private Dock can accomodate a boat with up to a 4 foot draft. This is a beautiful home complete with high end finishes, flat screen tv's and gourmet kitchen: was completly upgraded in 2009. Over 2500 square feet. Huge fenced in back yard can accomodate a small dog and is great for kids. The master and the second bedroom have king size beds and the third bedroom has a queen.
Our Neighborhood
Colonial Beach is a small town that is "golf cart" friendly. All the restuarants are within walking distance of the house. Both George Washington's AND James Madison's Birthplaces are just down the street. In fact our next door neighbor is a tour guide there and is happy to give you insider tips to the tour. If you are looking for "small town" America near the big city, this is the place for you. Close enough for day trips to DC, Richmond and Williamsburg/Jamestown.

About Us
My husband and I are "young" retirees looking for long term exchanges of at least a month. We will be bringing our small Bichon with us wherever we go. (she has references). My husband retired from the film industry and I retired from the advertising business. We are seeking exchanges where the accomodations are very nice and well taken care of.
