Our apartment is quite new; located in the center of Oslo, at Aker Brygge on 9th floor. It´s very bright - with both sea view and sun all day. It has a large living room with integrated kitchen, one bedroom and bathroom.

Oslo is full of life and opportunities; if you enjoy life outdoors, beautiful parks such as Viglandsparken and Frognerparken, are only minutes away. During the summer it´s especially lovely to visit the beaches at Bygdøy, go hiking in Nordmarka or rock climbing in Kolsås. Close to our home you find Akershus Festning, founded in 1299 by a Norwegian king. Within the walls of this ancient fort, there are many museums with possibility to attend various guided tours. Furthermore, with the apartments central location; shops, restaurants and gym are literally downstairs or around the corner. There are museums for every taste; you may view paintings by Edvard Munch, visit the fascinating technological museum at Kjelsås, and the nobel prize exhibition is close by. The opera was opened in 2008, and is Norways biggest institution for music and preforming arts. Concerts are being hold at the operas roof all summer and is definitely worth checking out.

My name is Magnea and I´m Icelandic by origin. I moved to a small town just outside of Oslo in 1978. Today I enjoy a social and calm life at Aker Brygge in Oslo, and my youngest daughter Victoria, who studies in France, lives with me in her holidays. We are open for an home exchange in most parts of Europe and North America.
