Our Home
In our house we have one bedroom (20 m²) with a double bed, one room (14m²) with a single bed and a children's bed and one room with two single beds (14 m²). Our house has been renovated about two years ago. We tried to renovate as ecologically as possible and are proud of the result!
We love our living room, with day light falling in from windows. We have access to internet all over the house, and possess a library/computer room (20 m²). In the bathroom we have a shower and a bath tub.
We have a small garden (50 m²), lovely to sit outside. Just around the corner is a park, where we spend a lot of time in the playground, walking around and biking with the children.

Our Neighborhood
Our house is located near the Antwerp city centre, and a 10-minute walk (or 2 tramway-stops) away from the railway station Antwerp-Berchem. This makes it an ideal location for people longing for a cultural and/or historical stay in Antwerp. By train, you reach in less than 1 hour other cities like Bruges, Ghent, Brussels and Louvain, among others.
Going for a stroll or a bike ride is perfectly possible, in the nearby region or even by discovering Belgium's nature reserves.

Our Dates
We are still looking a short holiday for a week or some days in the first half of April.
Our Destinations
We can swap houses this summer between July 15th and August 15th, and are open to any offer nearby mountains, forests or any other place where we can enjoy nature just nearby the house.
We are also open for long weekend swaps in springtime and in the first half of April.
We prefer a place we can reach by public transport (train or bus), but this is not necessary.

About Us
We are a family of four: our youngest daughter was born in 2011, the eldest daughter was born in 2008. Bram holds a PhD in Agriculture, works for an international organization based in Brussels and is interested in ecology and food sovereignity, Another hobby is cooking, and also music and books are important. Ilona is working in the field of (il)literacy, and is passionate about books. She is also very interested in ecology and in low impact living, and has co-authored a youth book about an ecological way of living.
We have travelled a lot in the past years, and have experiences home exchange is a good way to travel with small children.
We have no pets, as Bram is allergic to most pets (and please smoke outside the house).
