Enjoy an immaculately well-kept, brand new townhome as your "basecamp" for exploring the world-class destinations on the Colorado Plateau. Not that Flagstaff itself isn't worth visiting..it is! The town is about 65,000 but still retains a small-town feel. Enjoy historical, hip downtown and sip delicious espresso before heading out to hike Grand Canyon or explore lovely Sedona. Our 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom townhome really only sleeps two since my husband and I use the other bedrooms as our studios for art and music-making and are not furnished with beds. However there is ample space if the kids want to come along. The "studios" have a computer available and wifi. The master bedroom is very private and large, overlooking forest. The master bath has a jetted tub. We have a large kitchen and a good sized backyard for your buddy if you want to bring him/her along. I love to garden and we have flowers and veggies in back along with a deck with very nice views of Mt. Elden, which the townhome is snuggled up against. There are deer, coyotes, and mountain lions in our "backyard" which is the national forest--only one block away. The forest features over 100 miles of stunning hiking and mountain biking.....just leave from the front door no need to drive! We hope you come and stay and love our home as much as we do!

Flagstaff is the ideal "basecamp" for exploring the world-class wonders of the Colorado Plateau. We have a little of everything here: snow capped peaks (almost 13,000 ft), tall pines fading into the sparse beauty that only Northern Arizona offers. Our favorite road ride leaves alpine mountains looming in our shadow as we look out over the vibrant colors of the painted desert. It is truly breath taking....all with moderate and pleasant summertime temps (mid-70s to low 80s). Living in Flagstaff over 13 years we've discovered that our favorite areas are more off the beaten path: Anderson Mesa trails, Monument Valley, Wupatki and Sunset Crater national monuments, the hidden riparian areas. Wupatki and Lake Mary offer fantastic road-riding and day trip adventures. Flagstaff is considered one of the premier running towns in the country and as an avid cyclist the mountain biking is truly exceptional and Wupaki offers a world-class experience only 10 min from our doors.

Country Club, Golf Course and Health Club only 1 mile away.

We are pretty open and would love an extended weekend in Santa Fe or somewhere nearby.

My husband Nikolai and I (Rayonna) are very active and enjoy active vacations. We like running, cycling, hiking, swimming....you name it! Our blue-heeler/border collie mix Blueberry is a fun outdoor companion even at 6 months. We work at home and have flexible schedules so we thought an exchange would be perfect for us. Nikolai works on Colorado River issues and Rayonna does graphic design and web work. In addition Nikolai is an ultrarunner and composer and Rayonna is a homeopath.
