Our Home
We live in Ardross, in Perth WA. Our home is 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom, in a very pleasant area not far from the City and the river.
The house is a little different from the normal "standard WA 4x2" layout, with split levels. Everyone who visits comments on the unique character of the house. It has a master bedroom with en-suite, and three other large bedrooms, one is our little girl's room with a cot in it, the others all have queen-size beds.
We have two living areas, one with the TV etc, and one with a wood-burner (and a smaller TV), which is lovely in the cooler months. The computer would be here for your use, with wifi/internet. There is also a 5-seater hot tub/spa in the garden, and a choice of two BBQ/alfresco areas.
We have set the kids up with a very colourful play-room which had a wide range of toys and books for your kids to enjoy too. There is also a kids cubby house in the garden.

Our Neighborhood
The Swan River is 5 minutes to the north and Canning River 5 minutes to the east. Perth CBD is 15 minutes by bus or car, and Fremantle and the beaches are about the same distance away as well. We have a couple of kayaks and two adult bikes which you would be welcome to use.
We are very lucky to have a good selection of cafes and excellent restaurants in our locality, just five minutes' walk away. Ten minutes walk in the other direction is Garden City, one of Perth's premier indoor shopping centres.
Rottnest Island is 30 minutes away by ferry from Fremantle, which is perfect for kids. The resident Quokkas are very tame and happy to be stroked. The island has no cars, just bikes so is a very safe environment for exploring. See http://www.rottnestisland.com for more info.
Perth's local wine region, the Swan Valley, starts about 45 minutes to the east, and there are some great wineries and other spots to explore there, as well as some lovely riverside walks and other
child-friendly attractions such as the Margaret River Chocolate Company and Whiteman Park.
There is also a choice of four excellent golf clubs all within 10km of the front door.

Other Information
We have two cars, either of which can be available for your use. One is a 2008 Toyota Kluger SUV, the other a 2006 Ford Falcon which runs on LPG. We have child seats and strollers available if required.

We have two wonderful young boys, Thomas born in 2010 and Benjamin in 2012. I am a local authority Public Servant, and my wife Rachel is a stay-at-home mum.
We are reasonably active types, we love taking the kids on river walks nearby, taking the kids to Kings Park which overlooks the city (the photo of the city view is taken from Kings Park, not from our home!), and visiting one of the many excellent local cafes in Ardross or Applecross.
We are caring and respectful people, and would look after your home just as we would wish you to look after ours.
