Our Home
Beautiful ridgetop home in the "Motherload Gold Rush" area of California. Scenic views of the Sierras to the East and Coastal ranges to the west. The quaint pioneer towns of Sutter Creek, Jackson and Amador City offer shopping, restaurants, a piece of history and breathtaking hikes. For wine lovers, more than 30 wineries in the Shenandoah Valley are just miles away. Our house is a single story open floor plan with a master suite, guest bedroom ( queen size bed) and third bedroom an office.
Our Neighborhood
Our neighborhood consists of (mostly) 5 acre parcels in the foothills. It is very quite, very scenic. It's great for bikerides and hikers. Sacramento is 45 minutes away with many activites (i.e. railroad museum, capital tours, Stanford house, Crocker Art Gallery). San Francisco and Napa are less than 2 hrs. away.

Our Destinations
We are currently looking for places anywhere in California but are open to any destination. Preferences are Santa Cruz, Cambria, Santa Barbara, Carmel. It's wonderful being retired and having the flexibility to travel anytime.

We are recently retired, in our 50's and look forward to many travels. We love cooking, gardening, movies, house projects, winemaking and spending time with family (3 daughters/4 grandaughters) and friends. We have a cat and chickens.
