Our Home
Our victorian town house has 5 bedrooms over 3 floors, with two lounges, dining room, kitchen, conservatory and utility. Our period home has minton tiled entrance porch and bedrooms on the top floor with sloping eaves and wooden beams.
We have lots of space for a large family, off road parking and an enclosed garden.
Victoria Road is a quiet residential area, next to tennis courts, bowling and local park with swings and slides, football team etc.. We are a 5 minute walk into the centre of the historic town of Bridgnorth, with buses to Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury, and the Severn Valley Steam railway to Bewdley.
Bridgnorth is a beautiful historic town, perched on top of a rocky outcrop, overlooking the river severn. In the town centre is a twice weekly market, library, shops, supermarket, cafes, restaurants, pubs with live music, post office, cinema, theatre, etc..
We are 10 miles from:
Shrewsbury - a larger, still historic beautiful city with a larger choice of shops, theatres and cultural offers. Birthplace of Darwin.
We are 40 miles from:
Birmingham (UK's second largest city, fantastic cheap shopping, world class restaurants, nightclubs, live bands, Birmingham International airport - direct train ride to Albrighton) and direct frequent trains to London in just over 1 hour 30 mins.
or
20 miles from:
Ludlow - England's foodie capital, with michelin starred restaurants and food festivals throughout the year.
We have wireless broadband unlimited internet access and HD large screen TV in the lounge. Weekly cleaner visits on Fridays and local milkman service daily.
We have no pets that need tending, but two lovely neighbours.

Our Neighborhood
Bridgnorth is an historic town perched upon a rocky hilltop, overlooking the severn valley and river. Its beautiful, small and friendly. You can walk everywhere in 10 minutes, although there is a venicular railway if you prefer, to climb the steep side of the hill.
The town centre has lots of independent boutiques, we have a twice-weekly market and lots of little independent cafes and restaurants (italian, indian, British, European) plus some gastropubs serving good local food. There are good services and activities for children within walking distance (swimming pool, cinema, library, theatre, tennis courts, new playground, bowling, steam railway) plus lots to visit within a half an hour drive away - Ludlow, Shrewsbury, Birmingham.
We are a tourist destination in Shropshire and there are lots of events, such as music festivals at the weekends.
