You like to swim or sailing? The Lake Garda is just 30 minutes away. You can also travel to Rome by train in 4 hours or to Florence in 2 hours. Verona is the ideal area were to go because is central. Arbizzano, the small town were the house is, is just 5 minutes from Verona city center but at the same time quite and relaxing in the middle of the famous vine area of Valpollicella. Have you heard about the Amarone? Is one of the best vine from Italy....on the Gardalake you can also make fantastic biking trips or hiking trail to the Montebaldo, in the winter in just 1h you can just go for skiing and during the summer you can take a sunbath in the lake beach for example on the Punta San Vigilio.
You can make the tour of the old villas in Veneto or just go for shopping to Milan.
From June to september the Arena of Verona is offering the famous Opera: Traviata, Rigoletto, Nabucco.... just mix up your vacation as you like!
