This is a pied-à-terre / second home and available for non-simultaneous exchange or rental. Apartment is on first floor (one level above ground floor) - no views. One bedroom with queen platform bed (65 width x 83 length), living room has double sofa bed (43 width x 80 length) and there are two queen sized air mattresses. Can accommodate up to 4 comfortably - 2 in bedroom, 2 in living room - though more have stayed. If your travel plans include children - we have 2 very young children who come to NY regularly - there are 2 Baby Bjorn travel cribs (http://www.babybjorn.com/products/sleep/travel-crib-light/travel-crib-light/) and 2 restaurant-style high chairs. There are plenty of playgrounds in Central Park, a beautiful old-world carousel from 1908, the children's zoo and lots of other fun activities for children.
Galley kitchen with dishwasher. Dining table in living room seats 6 and can extend to seat 8. WiFi, flat screen TV (no cable), Blu-ray DVD player, and Bose SoundDock for iPod. Laundry room in basement. Window air conditioners in bedroom and living room. Housekeeping provided upon request. Well-behaved children welcome. No smoking. No pets.

You can walk to Fifth Avenue shops (about 10 minutes through Central Park) and the Theater District is a short cab ride or 15 mins walk.
