Our Home
Our home is situated on a quiet street in the middle of Amsterdam's medieval city centre. The apartment is approximately 60 square meters (650 sq ft) and consists of two bedrooms (facing the quiet backyard), a bright living room, a large kitchen, a bathroom and a separate toilet.The first bedroom has a double bed (140cm / 55"). The second bedroom a single (90 cm / 35").
There is hi-speed wi-fi internet available, as well as an Airport Xpress to play your digital music over the stereo speakers.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave/oven, washing machine, dryer and water cooker.
There is a shared garden behind the house.

Our Neighborhood
Our apartment is located in the 500 year old city centre of Amsterdam, between Chinatown and the Red Light District. Central Station and Dam Square are a five minute walk away.
From front door to check-in counter, Schiphol airport is a half hour away (both by train or taxi).
We live in a pedestrian area near the Nieuwmarkt, a central square with bars, shops and restaurants, as well as a supermarket. There is an excellent farmers market on the square every Saturday.

We would like to take a trip to Hong Kong and Guangzhou in 2014. But of course we are also open to other surprising regions around the world.
Besides mentioned preferred destinations, we are always up for weekend exchanges with other European cities: London, Berlin, Munich, Copenhagen, Paris, Rome, Barcelona, etc. Anywhere with direct flights from Amsterdam.

We are a young couple who like to explore new destinations around the world. Besides our listed destinations, we are also more than interested in weekend exchanges in Europe. We have had very good experiences with previous exchanges, so we plan to continue with it in the future.
I work in advertising, my fiancee works as a lawyer. Unfortunately, our jobs do not allow us to take holidays during July and August.
