Our house is located in Klintehamn, a small village 35 km from Visby, on the west coast of Gotland. With beautiful sunsets!

The house, built by a local carpenter (Andersson) in 1936, and gradually renovated in several steps, since the 50:s.

Its a flat and wooded garden of 2 000 m² includes deckchair, table and chairs, BBQ, a sandbox with playthings for children and a swing.

Its a 2-storey house with a veranda and has a surface area of 150 m².

The First floor includes lobby, cloakroom, kitchen , living room - lounge , 32" TV and DVD.

Kitchen: (fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, double sink, dishwasher)

Living room/lounge: (dining table for 8 people, leather sofa with corner section for 6 people, open fireplace)

The second floor includes 4 bedrooms. Master bedroom (180cm wide bed ) and three children´s room, (2 with 90 cm wide beds and 1 with 70 cm wide bed), a balcony facing south, bathroom with washbasin, toilet and a shower.

In the cellar we have got laundry (washing machine, washbasin), heating system, playroom (with table-tennis) and stores.

The following equipments are available: A Toyota Avensis Verso (max seven seats), 3 adults and 3 children bicycles, Computers with Internet and telephones at every floor, games and toys for children.

The small village of Klintehamn offers the advantage of a countryside location and still it is less than 30 minutes to the center of Visby, the only city on Gotland. You will find a wide selection of gourmet restaurants, arts and crafts, culture and sport in the area.

Our house offers direct access (by foot or bicycle) to local shops located a mere 700 meters away. You'll find a grocery, a bakery, a medical center, a kiosk and the "Donner Restaurant" with local delicacies. You can also buy fruit, vegetables, and fresh eggs directly from the local farmers. In Klintehamn you can also buy freshly caught fish in the summertime.

The hiking possibilities are endless and you will find the surrounding countryside extremely varied.

There is not much traffic in the area and there are several nice beaches around the island.

Our Destinations
We would like to exchange houses next summer ( 2012 ) for 2 weeks, some time between the 26 st of July and 12 August. Our house is free though the first 3 weeks of August, so we will be able to do a non-simultaneous exchange.
We would like to see the Olympic Games live in London.
We would be very happy to make friends with a family, and we are certain you will fall in love with our beautiful island.

All of us like simple outdoor activities like biking or swimming, walking and picnicking in forests and fields or spending festive moments with our friends.

We shall be very respectful of your possessions and your environment, and we will look after your house as if it was our own.
