Our condo is three years old and has been furnished in a clean, modern style. The living room provides a full wall of windows and a deck overlooking the courtyard. The lightfilled main living area also includes gourmet kitchen with granite counters and three barstools, a dining table to seat four, and living area with LED TV and BluRay. The guest bedroom has a queen sized bed and the master, a king plus bath with shower. The large second bath has ample storage and a tub/shower combo. Additional space to store your luggage (or all the purchases you make during your visit to this great shopping town!) is available in the den area just off the entry hall. Wireless internet and a laptop computer are at your disposal. The in unit washer and dryer are also off the hallway. Located in a secure, elevator building with indoor parking.

This home offers a fantastic location within walking distance of some of SF's best restaurants,shopping, the Embarcadero, the Ferry Building and the excitement of AT&T Park - home of the SF Giants, yet provides a quiet peaceful home base overlooking the landscaped common courtyard, pool and hot tub. There is a gym in the building and a fabulous rooftop deck overlooking the San Francisco skyline and the Bay Bridge.

The City and the surrounding areas of Marin, Napa, the East Bay and San Mateo are at your finger tips with the Muni Metro across the street, along with buses, ferries and Cal Train all within a few blocks.

A walk or Metro ride to the Ferry Plaza will take you to a gourmet paradise with shops and restaurants sellling the best of our incredible local food. Whether its your preference to sit and enjoy fresh oysters and Champagne overlooking the Bay, or you want to purchase ingredients to create your own feast in our fully stocked kitchen, the Ferry Building with its shops and Farmer's Markets is a must. Other gourmet fare within walking distance includes Boulevard, Waterbar, Momo's, District and CoCo500 restaurants along with countless small cafes. Shopping at Union Square is as easy as catching the Metro outside the front door as are many of the city's best theaters, museums and nightclubs!

South Beach is designed for walking, biking or simply strolling, whether along the bay, the Embarcadero, or Mission Creek, and has the most sunny,warm days of any San Francisco neighborhood!

Since neither of us are near retirement age at this time, our primary interest would be in exchanges of 3 weeks or less. We are pretty flexible about dates but do need a fair amount of advanced notice in order to plan our time away from work.

Our focus at this time seems to primarily be cities or tropics (the two ends of the extreme...) and up to this point has been centered on the US, Mexico, Europe and Asia. However, we are always open to new places,cultures, suggestions! Currently we are working out details for an exchange in Valencia, Spain in late spring/early summer 2013 and hope to add Barcelona and perhaps Madrid to that itinerary!

We travel mostly just the two of us, but occasionally will plan a trip that includes our two adult children or another couple.

As we have another residence in the Bay Area, we can exchange homes concurrently or are able to be more flexible in working around your desired travel dates and ours.

My husband and I are both in healthcare. Our children are now on their own so we have greatly enjoyed returning to city life and the fun San Francisco has to offer.
We're extemely active and enjoy the exercise, hiking, and biking so readily available in the Bay Area, as well as the theater, museums and nightlife of the city.
Travel has always been a shared passion of ours, and the purchase of this condo has now provided us with another way of seeing the world - through home exchanges!
