Our Home
Large, comfortable and colourful family home full of bits of art, sculpture and books we have collected over the years. Everything is clean and tidy but it is essentially a family home. We have four big bedrooms, three of which have double beds. We also have two camp beds so we can accommodate friends or extra family. We have a large garden (for London) with a deck with dining table and large parasol and outdoor fire pit. There is a separate seating area with barbecue. We have a trampoline, football goal, petanque set, lots of footballs and cricket stumps - although these can all be stored away.
Our Neighborhood
Our house is in Roehampton, near Putney, a family oriented area of SW London close to open park land but only a short hop into the centre. Local train takes 15 mins and brings you directly into the centre of London next to the London Eye and Tate Modern and opposite the Houses of Parliament. You can spend all day walking along the southbank taking in the street artists, second hand book sellers and watching youngsters skate-board and cycle by the National Theatre and Festival Hall.
Putney itself is arguably one of the most desirable areas of the capital as it is within London but has plenty of green space and the added advantage of the river Thames. There are plenty of pubs, shops and restaurants for all budgets.
We have compiled a very comprehensive book of information for our visitors and can help you organise things in advance if you have an idea about specific things you would like to do. We also have visitor Oyster cards (public transport cards) which we will post to you in advance of your arrival so you can quickly and easily get around by train, bus or tube. Our neighbours and usually on-hand to help with advice or any hitches or problems.

About Us
My husband Patrick is a political cartoonist who loves reading, art, museums, cycling, history, drawing and sketching. I am 51 and have my own small catering business. I love hill-walking, the outdoors and the mountains as well as eating and drinking, cinema and my friends. Our children are James (19) Pascale (17) and Olly (13) although they won't necessarily all accompany us. We have lots of games, books, DVDs suitable for most ages as well as the usual electronic gadgets. We have several bikes that you can use. We also have a piano and guitar. We all get on well together and are a relaxed and easy going family. We like to share our home and our love of London and we will treat your home with the utmost respect.
