Our house has an open floor plan, with a living room and kitchen flowing into a dining room. The kitchen has granite counter tops, convection cook tops, a double oven, a double-door refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a microwave oven. The kitchen also has a "breakfast" counter. The family room has a Samsung 58" flat-screen HDTV with 5.1 digital surround sound system, digital cable service, and a blue-ray DVD player. The whole first floor is covered with marble tiles. There is also a half bathroom, a stationary bicycle for workout and an upright piano on the first floor. High-speed WiFi internet access covers throughout the house and backyard.

All three bedrooms are located on the second floor. The master bedroom with an ocean view has a king bed, a walk-in closet and its own bathroom. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom. One bedroom with an ocean view has a queen bed and a closet. The other bedroom is used as a study room and looks out to the pool in the backyard. Our backyard has a pool with tropical plants, which is ideal for a barbecue or pool party.

Our quiet and safe neighborhood is one of the premier residential areas in Hawaii. Our house is located 10 minutes’ drive from Hanauma Bay, the most beautiful snorkeling beach in Hawaii. Hawaii Kai Marina for various water sports, such as water-skiing and parasailing, an easy and scenic hike (Makapuu Lighthouse), a very challenging hike (Koko Crater), a good place to learn surfing (the gentle waves of Maunalua Bay), a nice bodysurfing spot (Sandy Beach - Obama's favorite when he comes to Hawaii), and the only marine park in Hawaii (Sea Life Park) are all conveniently located within 10 to 20 minutes' drive from our house. With its ocean views from every tee, the Hawaii Kai golf course is 15 minutes’ drive from the house.

Hawaii Kai has various options for waterfront dining from Italian, Greek, Thai to Chinese. A cinema, 24 hour fitness club, and major bank branches are all conveniently located in the area. We also have a Costco, Safeway and Long Drugs within 5 minutes’ driving distance. It takes just 20 minutes to Waikiki, so you can go to Waikiki for some fun as a tourist and escape back home to rest and relax.
